Saw him in Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach a couple of times !!! Always hilarious !!! Got the chance to talk to him after a show once !!! Nice guy !!! And just a natural clown !!!
You don't see this as being insulting to people that might be mentally challenged? I don't, but that's the landscape now, THIS would somehow still manage to upset someone nowadays. Stand up comedians careers are in jeopardy with every bit they tell now. It's a shame because other than music, this is my favorite art form for entrainment and it's in danger.
was a student at Purdue and not doing very well...quit going to classes and started watching stand-up comedians. this is one of the first shows I saw...blew me away. still funny. I failed out and went back after four years in the Army. Comedians at that time helped me understand it was going to be OK.
This guy is so great. I'd go so far to say one of the greatest ever. How the heck did he not become one of the biggest ever? so many of the top comedians of recent years could only hope to be as creative, talented and funny.
@@jimreeves1954 Do you have the name of the club? I can't seem to find it using Google. I've been a fan of his since the 80s - one of my first dates with my wife (32 years in 2019) was to see him in a club in West Orange NJ. I would love to go see him again, now that we're empty nesters.
What a talent - creative and funny; and I can't believe that juggling routine is any easier because he uses babushkas. In fact, synchronized with the music, I'd guess it was at least 2 dimensions more difficult.
@@MarkBlairs-Stooge-Channel lol...I'm sure! I've only seen parts of his routine on RU-vid. This was the first time I saw the juggling routine and couldn't stop laughing. Lol
Mark Blair Is he still alive and doing stuff? I could check google but I wanted to thank you. He was one of the first comedians I pissed myself to. Sophomore year
Awesome stuff! When people had a sense of humor. This would offend this era of PC. Why wasn't he bigger, idk. Didn't miss a beat with the rouge bubble! Thanks for posting 👍👍
The rogue bubble!! ☺️🤣 That's the fun of Live comedy, and he took full advantage of it. He has been one of my favorite comedians for a very long time and I wish he had become more mainstream so more people could have enjoyed his comedy. I love the, "you can grab one off any old lady in the street" line in the babushka bit!! ☺️
I have his entire skit in the house on dvd. The chinese guy, welcome to Jamaica, mom i need the toilet paper. They dont have any.ofnthe good ones on You Tube.
When I was a kid I had a VHS tape with this show, but just this part, and also Mother Goose Rock and Rhyme, Terminator 2, part of an episode of SNL hosted by Andrew Dice Clay, and an episode of Freddy's Nightmares. I wonder what happened to that tape. Anyway I really want that juggling babooshka song.
Honestly don't know. She was hosting a late night comedy television show "Stand up spotlight" in the same time frame as this orginally aired so .. could be.
@@MarkBlairs-Stooge-Channel I have no idea how she got to be a big name. I remember her doing bits in between shows or videos on VH-1 and she was NOT funny at all. Not once.
