I think the bigger the show has gotten the more fearful the girls are of getting hate online. I get it, the fans can be really harsh! I feel for early icons like yourself for how poorly you were treated but my word you will always be *that girl*

Season 1 deserves props because Ongina came out as HIV positive. She told everyone after she won the MAC Viva Glam challenge. I choked up. It's wonderful that she is doing so well.

I was really wondering why Bob didn't mention Juju for All Stars 5 but the other 3 in the top 4, not mentioning her for Season 2 or All-stars 1, but then for Season four was really weird to me. They even filmed Dungeons and Drag Queens together recently.

If anything I was thinking she kinda dusted Chad Michaels by placing her seasons lowest and highest and not mentioning her 😭 but I love her you can tell she enjoyed the drama of the season and she really highlighted a lot of queens in this video.

willam’s disqualification is literally a core memory for me. i was 13 years old watching it with my mom on the couch, sitting straight up because the tension between who would go home, and then they call willam’s name. gasp. we were SILENT FOR THE REST OF THE EPISODE. SILENT. WE WERE GAGGED. Everything Willam said is what made S4 my favourite. One of my underrated quotes from her that season is "shut your ugly boat mouth up" to Jiggly praising her own boat.
Love that Bob mentions Jade Jolie from S5! She usually gets left out of the conversation with how many huge hitters are from that season but she really had her own stand out moments (mostly with the drama). She’s the reason we have “BACKROLLS?” & “shoulders should match them hips but they don’t so..”😂😂 & Her being the only Rugirl to do Dragula as well is definitely noteworthy!
Most fans of the show are late to the party or were too young to even know season 1. Not me, I've been with the show since day 1, season 1, episode 1. I still remember reading the 2 line blurb in Entertainment Weekly (yes, a physical magazine) saying Rupaul was going to have a new reality competition show called Rupaul's Drag Race on Logo.

yesss this moment was soooo iconic, valentina being the front runner and fan favorite to win for the entire first half of the season. honestly makes me wonder how the finale would have turn out if Valentina didnt get get elimenated.
season twelve had jeff goldbloom crying during widow and jackie’s katy perry lipsync and that is one of my all time favorite drag race moments. look over there!

@@04campbellk my first season was season 4. I watched Willam’s “Beatdown” on RU-vid and found Drag Race thru him. I was 13/14 & actually never even heard of drag before I found Willam. That’s why Willam will always be one of my favorite queens.

This color of brown is my fav on bob amd I LOVE it with gold. The eye makeup looks so good. I love the corner of the eye detail and the gold crease. And the blush is so good. Bob looks great.
The way they read Rock M Sakura for her "fart" humor and then made a whole ass challenge based on farts. Her verse was even really good too. Now the design challenge I can't defend but the whole narrative they made for her that season was so weird.

Like if it had been like season 3 with more look based challenges it would’ve been a very different season. Which when you think about it makes it more impressive that Violet won
Their first shift to a completely "behind the scenes" untucked as opposed to the heavily produced untucked of the earlier seasons might have something to do with it. Honestly surprised we haven't seen Kandy Ho or Jaidynn as lip sync assassins. They could've done better than some of the AS8 ones lol

I think antihero is really the perfect word for Willam. She wants the best for people and hates to see anyone be exploited or hurt but she has interesting ways going about making change
I love the moment on her season when she realizes and says she doesnt have any drag friends 😢 (as she wasnt part of the drag scene yet and was more of a female impersonator/actor).. Compare it to now when she is one of the most popular amongst the queens, always lending out her drag and etting queens borrow her couture.. she out there representng other queens and fighting for their recognition. Even her studio is like "a love letter to drag queens". Love Willam so much!
Mine too! The thing about season 6 is that there were no “filler” queens. They were all so different and unique, I remember all of them very clearly, even the ones who left first. The Top 3 were amazing, of course. And Bianca is still the funniest queen from the franchise (sorry, Bob!).
People don't talk enough about Season 2, it's the first season that really brought us DRAMA. Tyra vs Raven, Tyra vs Tatianna, Tatianna vs Raven (I would never say that), Jujubee, Shangela, Mystique vs Morgan McMichaels, JESSICA WILD. Ugh, it's one of the seasons that I constantly rewatch because it has everything, drama, entertainment and nerve (to wear those ugly shoes).
Season 2 is one of the best. It was a huge step-up from the first season, and everyone was so unfiltered. Tatianna proved she was no pushover, and Jujubee gave us some iconic one-liners 'Just say talk' / 'Just get yourself some manners, so you won't look so damn stupid', not to mention the reunion Tatianna vs. Raven and Mystique's 'Security'. Then we also had Raven, who was simply a bitch with those snarky confessionals 'She has acrylic toenails with white French tips'. Pandora brought the comedy note with 'raspberries' and 'homeless chic' and Jessica Wild was introduced to golden showers. And we were introduced to Shangela, luckily Shangela was immediately out of season 2, or we would have never gotten her epic season 3 rant vs. Mimi, or her Nancy Drew moment with Tule-gate.
The kids today will never know how iconic season 4 was for those of us who watched the show from the beginning. And for all of her faults, Sharon Needles revolutionized the way in which drag was seen in the mainstream through her win, and inspired so many queens that do alternative drag to apply for the show.
Totally agree. As a fan that’s been watching since season 3 aired, nothing stacked up to how important 4 felt at the time of being on TV. It’s weird to have felt like SEASON 5 was a step down the next year! The iconic season 5!!
Season 6 (Bianca), Season 8 (Bob), and Season 15 (Sasha) were all this way for me! When you get people whose star shines brighter than everyone else’s in the room, it’s just so obvious! 🤩

There should be no controversy about S4 being #1. It was totally iconic!! A game changer. And I think Willam deserves credit for being a major catalyst on the RDR series.
Damn, All Stars 6 that low?! With all the moments and lip syncs and the come back episode?! I’m shook! Bob’s perspective is VERY different from the fandom. He really loves his drama!
I mean I love the cast, I love the redemption arcs, but the judging was terrible and the season itself was very boring with barely any standout moments

I think Season 15 is the best “newer” season we’ve had in yearssss!!!! Between mistress (& Irene for 2 episodes) giving us amazing drama. Good untucked moments. The twins. Looseys gaslighting. Two iconic lip syncs. Anetra duck walk. And the legendary Sasha Colby… I think as time goes on it will only rank higher for people - for me it’s probably in my top 5 fav seasons along with seasons 4, 5, AS2 & AS7

Season 9 for me I think is the best one. Most talented cast of queens, best promo, best finale of all time , best first episode with LADY FUCKING GAGA, best reunion, best rupaul song performance (Category is...). Truly iconic. We need you to convince Peppermint to go to allstars so she can win!

The cosmic irony of that Jaremi vs Sharon has them in the costumes they had on, only for the tables turn now the way they have is just wild to me. Season 4 is my favorite too, it was wild.

2 things are very funny about this rank: 1. You called Jiggly “Jujubee” twice without questioning 😂 2. The season you put at the top is the season with the least queens coming back for All Stars which somehow makes this rank very accurate! The more controversial the better! The best moments of season 4 were Dita Von Teese sat in the gold bar by herself while everyone else was fighting in the interior illusions lounge and then of course everyone talking shit about Willam while she's in the gold bar yelling "bar queen!" to herself..... just iconic
Season 4 was the first season I had ever seen and it changed my life. Around that time I was working up the courage to come out and live my truth etc. The fierceness of those queens made many things seem possible for me! "I was on Boston Public with you! Bitch, shut up."
This ranking makes me confident that Bob would love Survivor. This list felt like Bob was ranking off of drama and fights. When she watches Survivor Heroes vs Villain’s her life is going to change.

Alaska even had a heart to heart with jinxx on the episode where they all said to send jinxx home saying they only said that bc she’s the biggest competition there. It was mainly coco and roxxy getting in jinxx for being “comedy” but I’m sure Alaska didn’t like that either bc she was a comedy queen too. She just never got attacked for it bc of rolaskatox and she was just chill with everyone
absolutely spectacular ranking. i go back and watch old seasons while i work/exercise and i love to see how each “era” (roughly) of the show changes the game for the future. season 4 was the first one i watched, and i was hooked by the end of the first episode. “post-apopaloktic” i was deceased 💀
Agreeed. When she killed the political challenge and they were like, "you took it too seriously, you aint really running for office". Like...they basically said if you make light of it, that's bad, but if you take it seriously, that's bad. No wonder she got broken down and down on herself.

This is the Bob I love the most. This video reminds me of how much he stans RDR. Sometimes when he talks about the show recently his sparkle isn't quite there... but here it is 100% on display and I love it!
