Daddy freeze i used to respect you but you trying to cover up everything here bcos of your perceived relationship with bob tells a lot about your credibility. You are obviously not reliable
come on.......Daddy freeze hasn't said anything out of place yes the law and its application is different from morality or what you thing the law should be, the law isn't a respecter of any one so be objective
Daddy Freeze is not in the wrong, some things are only censored just bcuz of RU-vid platform. So don't get any ideas in your head, if u don't understand something it's always better to ask question than to jump into conclusion.
I watched a domestic violence documentary yesterday where the man recorded the abuses from his wife, who turned around and called the cops that the husband pointed a gun at her to kill her. The man was almost being led away by the cops and suddenly, he brought out the recording, which revealed that the woman was lying. And immediately the table turned around and the woman was led away in handcuffs. So, I believe it is legal to record a private conversation for your protection.
Recording is permitted in the western world and most countries and are used in the courts all the time. The lady is only talking about Nigerian laws where I think She is qualified. The Privacy law she quoted is very limited in most countries but I guess Nigeria is still using its archaic laws.
Daddy Freeze, if releasing a recorded conversation a crime and can be sued for, what if it's a vital evidence that could benefit the society.. For example the recorded conversation between abakiyari and hush
No mind daddy freeze and the lawyer gurl.😢😢😢😢 Even here abroad, anything u can present as an evidence is admissable.admissible.. e no matter how u use get that particular evidence.
Lawful recording would mean that you informed the person that you will be recording the conversation and you will get the person’s consent in the recording before proceeding. But I don’t know if in Nigeria the law requires that the other party must be aware he or she is being recorded.
You're right bro. That lady lawyer got the major point wrong. Recording your conversation without your consent is not illegal as long as the recorder is part of the conversation, but publishing it to the public without consent is illegal. More so, recording without consent doesn't render the recording (evidence) inadmissible. You can establish a case based on it and you can tender the recording against the speaker in a case. Please find this out from lawyers that practise in Nigeria. The rule of thumb is that "where an evidence is derived from is irrelevant to the admissibility. What matters is its relevance."
You are a fake lawyer is allowed to record two of you must be part of the recording your voice must be heard what you have said is when one person voice is being heard at the recording that is where you call it offense
You are a quack Lawyer o. So you don't know that a conversation can be written, recorded which is acceptable in court. Bobrisky started the defermation. He said that the guy abroad nack him and kiss him without pay without pay. That was what angered the guy abroad to release the conversations they had.
Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was bought back to Nigeria illegal and the Supreme Court agreed that he was bought back to Nigeria illegal, but they still allowed the trials to go ahead
Dude is on the down low. He can't convince me he isn't involved intimately with bob. Dude swinging both way so cut that crap about you get daughter o. You're moving on the DL bruh
evidence act says that an evidence proving a crime is always admissible regardless of how it was obtained. As long as it is relevant to prove the crime being accused
Exactly wat I wrote!!!! So u expect me to sit down, arms folded , doing nothing, while u had an ulterior motive olanned out on how you do not intend paying me my money? The guy was only smarter than Bob!! Imagine, if he didn't quickly send Dat voicenote to VDM, and Bid goes to Instagram firstly to give that false narrative that the guy was his lover and all Dat shit he wanted to use to blackmail d guy, everyone wld gave crucified him, and even advice Bob not to pay him.. u know how hypocritical Nigerians are?. 🙄🙄🙄
Not really, there is what is called POISONOUS THREE DOCTRINE in law that state any evidence obtained illegally, cannot be administered as evidence and any other evidence that is derived from that illegally obtained evidence cannot be administered as well.
That so-called lawyer is so wrong! You can go ahead and publish a conversation depending on the situation, if you like. Legally, it MAY not be accepted in the court of law depending on the jurisdiction/State/Country law or regulations. This is a social media issue and can be looked at as such, and NOW DEPENDS IF THE CALLS/COMMUNICATED ARE TRUE OR NOT! If not true, then the law can take a look at it!!!! Danduje was once shown taking bribes and shown everywhere in Nigeria, abi?? The opponent political party dragged the heck out of him, who did he sue???????? LOOK AROUND AND SEE THERE ARE VIDEOS, FLOATING EVERYWHERE IN YOUR BANANA REPUBLIC!!! SUE WHO??? Who did Bobrisky sue for showing videos about his spraying money??? I can go on and on!!!!
It was so obvious, bobrisky did not go to prison, majority of people knew this because he was looking fresh on release. Even when you go to UK and American prison, you don't come as well kept. But everyone kept quite.
To be sincere, i was once in Prison some years back in Nigeria. There are some building inside the prison that has all facilities, you will think that person is in his/her home, this room has POP and well designed. It is paid apartment for the rich who are in custody. Even if the person is doing video call, you will not believe it is prison.
@@theelites7178 That is Nigeria for you. Only the poor suffers in prison. Rich people are living well there. When they come out you will think they are coming from UK. The poor there are their messengers... There is life inside life.
Daddy freeze. Ur guess the layers has just campaign for her status cos u read a comment that ask if she's married so she just raised her fingers to her jaw just to show us she's not married. Dear we see u abeg . Our pretty 9ja lady.
No ooooo, I disagree to some of her point, for instance, if someone wants to kill you and you got hold of the conversation, privacy would be set aside in that situation
Abeg make we here wordi. Law dis, law dat . Audio don leak, e don leak. Let's treat the ills from the audio. EFCC, Bobgbola, Falz and em papa must be investigated and action taken.
Daddy Freeze, that lady lawyer got one point wrong. First of all, you cannot assume the conversation was acquired illegally without first stating the laws that govern phone recording within the sate or country it occurs. The phone recording can only be considered illegal if the state or county in which the person who’s recording, says it’s illegal.
Depending on the nature of crime, jurisdiction over a crime in another country is possible in international law. That can be done through either nationality jurisdiction or universality jurisdiction.
if this ppl dey say the recording is a crime what about FBI and other big sectors wey dey wear recording wire for victims just to get recording or a confession of a supposed crime committed on ppl 🤔🤔🤔🤔and using it as evidence to persecute them to be jailed
@Daddy Freeze, the opinion of my learned friend may appear convincing but I totally disagree with her. Look the Law has, before now, been settled in criminal proceedings, except in cases of involuntary confessions, any evidence which is relevant is admissible irrespective of how it is obtained. I refer to Musa Sadau & Anr. vs. State (1968) NMLR 208.
This one just dey talk nonsense. So you supported him so that he will run advertisement? So if Bob did free ads for you, you wouldn't ve posted the recording? Na u still talk sey money no be your problem, nonsense.
Same freeze that did a Hushpuppy video and was fascinated by his wealth. I kept wondering the purpose of the clear butt licking of hushpuppy. Fugazzy's all around
FREEZE LIKES TO INTERUPT FLOW OF CONVERSATION TOO MUCH..... HE IS TOO EXCITED... IT BORES MY INTEREST IN HIS SHOWS... WHEN A GUEST IS TRYING TO DRIVE AN EXPLANATION TO THE AUDIENCE.... KPAM... FREEZE WILL JUMP IN AND CUT AND AFTER TOO MUCH TALK TALK, HE WILL ASK THE PERSON TO CONTINUE... SOMETIMES THE PERSON MAY HAVE FORGOTTEN WHERE HE STOPPED..... FREEZE PLS REPENT....
I understand the law says it is illegal to publish a voice recording of a private conversation. However, i want to ask the lawyer one question. If that published voice recording triggers a police investigation, and it was discovered that the crime mentioned in the recording actually happened, can such an investigation lead to a successful prosecution?
The means by which Nnamdi Kanu was brought back to Nigeria is very illegal. Why is the Nigerian government still persecuting him? My question is based on what this lawyer is saying.
Recordings are permitted in the court of law if relevant to the case in most countries in the world. The young lady is only referring to Nigerian law. Privacy law does not protect your recorded conversation if its relevant to the case in most countries in the world but i guess Nigeria is still stuck with its archaic law.
U people are running a way from the truth,,, is this not exactly in the case of nnamdi kanu illegally kidnapped from Kenya but till now some of u are still supporting Nigeria government because of ur hates to the IGBOS
Under which law and in which jurisdiction can somebody no record you? Pls be specific and your facts right. What if you being recorded for quality assurance and security purposes. Also, first amendment is enshrined by the constitution which allows freedom of the press. Recording for the purpose of public interest is in the USA is legal and a form of freedom of the press.
The whole conversation had no moral value.. Nigerians are up in the matter because the context of the pardon suggested that a bribe of 10m was gonna be paid to get Bob a presidential pardon, also non of you could stand on the fact that him being in an apartment instead of jail is unacceptable. If a blimp like Bobrisky can evade a court judgement then why weep over the likes of Yahaya Bello dodging the same laws and court orders of the land?
this is not about a child kidnapping or some is more of a business deal, if am going to do a deal where theres not witness no paper work to sign as evidence we had a deal then there should be a recording and me knowing there will be fowl play or noticing it in the atmosphere i would record u for my own safety cause nobody can be trusted and without evidence we had noting at all .
Bended law. I watch judge juddy, people present such evidence, chats and recorded voice notes of their conversations so please let's hear whatbwith Nigerian ways of law and stupidity. Stupid lawyer
Legal recording would mean that you informed the person that you will be recording the conversation and you will get the person’s consent in the recording before proceeding.
Daddy freeze i really think that your questions should be is it right for efcc keeping somebody has been sentence the prison in an apartment I think I should be your question that this place stop being one-sided
In Nigeria, recording a conversation by one of the parties without informing the others is generally considered lawful, but with some nuances: **One-Party Consent:] Nigeria follows a one-party consent rule, meaning: 1. At least one party to the conversation must consent to the recording. 2. The recorder is considered to have given implied consent. **Court Precedents:] 1. _Ogboru v. Ibori (2005)_: Court held that recording conversations without informing others is permissible if done by a party to the conversation. 2. _Agoro v. Oyinlola (2010)_: Court ruled that recordings made by one party can be admissible as evidence. **Exceptions:] 1. _Confidentiality_: Recording conversations in confidential settings (e.g., lawyer-client, doctor-patient) may still be unlawful. 2. _Malicious Intent_: Recording with intent to blackmail, harass, or harm others may lead to criminal liability.
What of a situation where your lawyer is threatening you over the phone to sabotage your case so as a result you start to record the rest of the phone conversation.
