Bob Ross has been gone 27 years this year, and would’ve been just 80 had he still been alive. We’re lucky to have these moments captured like we never lost him.

I am watching this everyday at night before I go to bed, not only because it makes me happy, but he inspires me to do better and have happy little accidents. Whenever I’ve had a bad day, I just go straight to here, to watch the heavenly happy lord paint. And I love every second...

It always makes me so sad when he suggests sending in a card, or says he'll be coming to town, as if that's still possible to meet him. There's a moment of "oh, cool", immediately followed by "wait ... awwww. " :`-( Watching these videos makes it seem so current. Like seeing old tapes of Christmas with my late Uncle. Like they're still among us.

Bob is so pure. His voice is like an angel whispering in your ear. He is god in true form, he can create yet destroy. His paintings are so lovely and beautiful nothing can top it. I would love to be an acquaintance of his or even a friend. If he was still here today, oh what beauty he can bring to this awful, dark world. Global warming, government issues, bullying, it will all stop. Bob can turn the straightest of men gay. Watching this inspires me to paint and someday I wanna be just like him.
