Bob Ross fans are some of the nicest, most supportive people you will find. From adults that watched him when it was airing on tv, to the creators who made him into an internet sensation, and to the young people who learned of him through memes, all of you are so sweet and has had your life changed by this loving, creative, and optimistic man. Y’all are amazing
Bob Ross passed away in 1995, and here he is on RU-vid in the year 2020, with 4.4 million followers. I don't know how many people who have passed away, have a following like Bob on You Tube, but it is a solid testament to who he truly was, and to so many of us, who he still is.
Now it’s January 24th 2024. And this channel now has 5.75M subscribers. And this vid has 614,383 views. I would like to see the Watchman River get more attention as well too.
I've been suffering from anxiety and some stomach issues because of that, and Bob has helped me so much. Every night before bed, I dim ny lights and out on an episode. Sometimes I'm so amazed I forget to fall asleep XD. To everyone who is keeping his dream alive, thank you.
a true fan of Bob Ross will try to live a life of peace and love I look up to him.hes my role model. I'm moving to the country to be more in touch with nature Bob if you hear me you really touched my life with your love if nature and our planet. I wish to be like you some day God bless my friend . 👏
Bob knew about painting, perspective and how to paint in perspective; but most importantly, he knew Nature first hand. I believe this painting to be one of his master pieces--based on atmosphere alone; being able to convey what was in his mind to canvas. He was gifted with true Brilliance with a capitol B. ~
I have to say, you guys are the pleasant group of people I've read on you tube. then again we are watching Bob Ross so I shouldn't be too surprised ♡ I've just discovered his videos here for a month or so. when I get my room set up, I'm going to try and follow one of his tutorials.
I'm rearranging my home for a friend, she lives here and needs health care...so I'm giving myself one room for just me to rest and regroup. my aunt loved Bob ross and painted with him. I found her oil paints and brushes. all Bob Ross. it makes me sad because I miss her, but what a great way to remember her as well.
@@lisawhitefawn well it says 3 years you were gonna set up a room for yourself to paint....did you? Have you been painting lots and lots of Bob Ross paintings?
Watching his videos Bob not only taught me how to paint, he also cured my depression and insomnia. I no longer have to take any medication to treat it. Thanks Bob, you're a Godsend!😊🙏
Bob is such a genius because he's convinced himself that brush warshing is the best part Talk about looking on the bright side! Genius teaching method.
This is probably one of my favorite paintings by Bob Ross. It reminds me of the area where I grew up there was many lovely peaceful areas with a little pond in an opening in the forest. It alwsys made me feel as if I was in a Disney movie with all the birds, deer, rabbits, squirrels and forest animals hidden in their home.
Had to go to the hospital for stress aches last week and this has helped me tremendously. Maybe I can listen to this in class so my head doesn't explode.
His voice is very calm/soothing! I use to watch him every Saturday morning growing up & I still do from time to time. Everytime u feel frustrated just watch Bob Ross it will make all ur anger go away!
Not going to lie. Sometimes I drink too much and while sipping on my last glass of scotch I tear up and think about how so much evil exists in the world and how if we had more people like Bob Ross the world would be such a better place. Sure he was deeply religious and many of his views reflected that, but all he ever seemed to want was for others to find something they loved that would also bring joy to others.
@@goxaviergo11 Yeah, but shouldn't it be? I know it should but people dont care about real stories of goodness cause it just isnt interesting, which bothers me a lot, but what can i do?
@@stkop1186 Best thing you can do is to completely stop watching the media, period. I mean, don't even watch them for weather alerts. Do not allow your eyes and mind to be deceived by anything they say, whether it's local or national, Left or Right. The media is the mouthpiece of the powers-that-be and they seek only to control the minds of the masses. If that sounds crazy, why do you think the media cancels everyone and everything they don't like to hear? Why do you think they have to threaten your freedom and even your income if you don't think the way they do? Why do they label people "anti-vax" for having concerns about any given vaccine? They're obviously up to something. 🤷♂️
The way he made a plain black canvas into a magnificent painting with little effort is Beyond Magical. He has such an inspiring dialogue while he paints. He was an Amazing human being we won't see again in this life time. That is sad...
For a short time, I used to do art for a living which was extremely stressful and tiresome. Watching Bob paint reminds me of time when art was fun and a source of relaxation.
1MFilms I feel that brother. I moved out at 16 and supported myself with graphic design and art. It hasn’t exactly been the same since but I’ve always enjoyed watching this man work.
This painting was really nice, though it was certainly darker then most paintings. Then again, Bob has said before that he really likes darker ones more then bright ones, though I don't really see the same with that opinion. I would rather have a bright painting like the Campfire one or the Royal Majesty then this one. Nonetheless this painting was detailed with it's trees and bushes, with various shades of yellow, green, and orange. The flat ground in front of the lake had lovely texture, similar to a mountain, and the blue and purple sky never ceases to make me adore how colorful it looks. The placement of the island on the left lets you see how the river curves and again, provides even more depth then if it wasn't there at all. Share your thoughts below to my thoughts and your own :) Hope you enjoyed my *_Happy Little Review~_*
Those are some of the best trees I've seen him do so far, although I must admit, I'm not the biggest fan of those pale coloured branches poking out of the bushes on the right.
I want to paint so bad!!! I saw online that there is a kit being sold at a craft store in my area that has all the brushes and paints that Bob used, along with a canvass and booklet with tips. It's under the Bob Ross name too so I dunno if his estate is pushing merch.
Back when you couldn't rewind or pause T.V, how did anyone ever have enough time to prepare their canvases before they paint on them like he does off camera? Always been curious about that.
I've watched at least a dozen of these and so i have a challenge for everyone who likes Bob Ross... From the first episode to the last, count every time he says "there"(i think its that there).
Black gesso is a water based paint that dries quickly. The oil based paint that Bob normally uses takes much longer to dry, and the liquid white takes even longer to dry than regular oil paint.
