Iv,e forwarded this to traffic commissioner. These two cops seem to think their above the law.! It,s unfair to public citizens.! Cops showing g contempt for the law. Whilst doing us.!
Eh?! Overview Traffic commissioners are responsible for licensing and regulating operators of heavy goods vehicles (HGVs), public service vehicles (PSVs) and local bus services.
He's an absolute LEGEND.. to those who think he's trying to pull something- you are dumb. The dude is doing a great PR moment for auditing. Opening the closed doors and allowing freedom of information.
You’re wasting your breath on that woman with the phone. One word. ENTITLEMENT! Her lack of knowledge of driving law is jaw dropping. NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE!!!
Andy was awesome!! Helpful, polite, explained the different style of rooms. Really well done. He should train all the other officers and districts on how to deal with the public.
It don't matter if she's driving she's basically in a junction and it's classed as the same as waiting at traffic lights plus you aint allowed to even use ya phone parked correctly in the car now.
I think if your car's engine is on, your key is engaged at the ignition, and you're the person behind the steering wheel; then you are technically operating a functional vehicle. In America, you will be charged for driving under influence for simply sitting behind the steering wheel and the key is on your hand in some states, if you are drunk or under influence of some sorts of drugs.
The police officer Andy was like a dream come true, after watching so many Audits this seams unreal for the way he handled everything and was very proud of the police station
That woman irritated me with her blatant ‘I’m above the rules’ attitude! If the general public are not allowed (and rightly so) to have a phone at all, then neither is she! If she’s so blasé about breaking that rule publicly, what is she prepared to hide? Keep up the good work AB ❤️
She was clearly in gear too when ‘parked’ so hope she does get fined and points on her license but no doubt some bs excuse will put her above the rules
Andy, if you’re watching (and I think you ARE), well done. Your friendly manner and professional conduct should be used in a Met. training video. You very much remind me of the police officers of old when I was a kid ( I'm 75). You should put in for Sergeant !
@@oszkarkeresi5253 I was told by a worker that because they are delivering in accordance to the Universal service obligation by law they are exempt from certain parking restrictions
What is weird is 'officers' in clothes with builders logos and women in plain clothes harassing people for holding cameras on the pavement, whilst breaking their own traffic laws.
@@spense5905 nope. Hence her bosses aren’t going to prosecute her, and correctly so. And before people on here start chirping up with “police getting away with it”…….it’s on video, published on RU-vid for the world to see, if it’s actually against the law she’d have to be prosecuted, if her officers were protecting her the police complaints people and the mainstream media would be all over it. Give it a rest numpties
I have been watching auditing videos for 2 years and the uniformed officer was the best I have seen, very well done Constable Walton, every new met recruit should spend a day with this officer
Apparently one of the requirements to be an officer is the ability to stand in front of a member of the public and say impossibly stupid things. Clearly their training is spot on.
There are many Auditors that bring something different to the table. AB brings good humour and intelligence and is now garnering some respect from some police officers. Whilst the wronguns continue to expose themselves to be be utter incompetents. Well done AB and well done Andy. Respect to both of you
Andy was fantastic. A credit to the police force. If all were like him... My appreciation of the British police force has increased because of Andy. Incidentally, I'm also named Andy.
I thought Andy was going to be a real tyrant at first with how loud and confident he approached you but I was pleasantly surprised with his attitude and how he was proud to show his station off and show police and the station in a good light. I still wouldn't trust him to much, but he seems fair and understands auditing and our rights.
Its weird, strange, she stops her car when at a junction uses her phone and insists she's not driving, (how the bloody hell did the car get to the junction then ?) her colleague says shes parked up waiting too pull out, so again if shes waiting to pull out, she must be driving, she doesn't know you, yet she puts her phone on speaker phone so you can hear the two way conversation, she broke the law and should pay the penalty, even more strange and weird, this needs reporting.
@@Radfordperson Correct you can make a 999 call if its safe to do so whilst driving, but she cant use that loophole as its clear she phoned a colleague within the building, the speaker phone gave that away
@@wolvoman1 I'll admit I don't know if this is the case, but I'd hope and expect that a police officer would be held to a higher standard in terms of not being able to use the emergency call as an excuse when a police officer ought to know that someone filming or taking photographs is not a crime never mind an emergency
Above all else, despite the myriad of "laws" and protocols broken by these goons....they clearly see themselves as being above "the norms of society" they see themselves as "superior beings" (except for PC Andy of course) Keep up your brilliant work AB
If officer karen is "parked" then she should get a ticket for stopping on a single red line which is prohibited and a ticket for obstruction of the public highway which is a £50 ticket
@@WhiffenC Yea, lots of people (in UK) get confused with the open container laws in N. America, it does seem a bit odd that we don't have that law here, but then again, I appreciate being able to drink a beer on my way home from work sometimes. 🤣
Andy is a disgrace to the force and an embarrassment to his colleagues. Fancy being polite, courteous, helpful and not being bothered about someone filming? Andy should be sacked immediately this is not the level of policing we’re used to 😑
For the purposes of the law, being parked up includes being stopped at the side of the road, not causing an obstruction, handbrake on and engine off. She failed on this final point.
I think everyone is missing the point, are derogatory names now acceptable! No matter how awful that are, if someone put me on you tube calling me this I would be absolutely heartbroken.
Strongly recommend a private auditing network where auditors can contact each other and if a police station uses illegal means many other auditors would revisit it.
@@John.Spandli so there should be only right? I have seen auditors go places where others have had some shocking results and blatant bullshit n bullying from Po's? And it's good to see that they have each others backs and I also have seen a few of the best 1's team up n go do Anne audit? It's quite funny as well that we always say that theirs the bad 👮🏻♂️ good 👮🏻♂️ way of questioning us & the same can be said for the auditors they play them at their own game good auditor 🕵🏻♂️bad auditor 🧛🏼♂️ & I swear it's hilarious to watch 2b fair I'm not for or against audits or the police I think it all has a purpose? All I hope is that it brings good things to everybody & improves our public services because we need them as much as we need to know our rights ✌🏻🌎
A.B am really proud of you and the way you give people chances before you explain further yourself.. I’ve nicked your sense of humour and you’ve taught me utilise my brain broadly and I thank you so much.. Andy approached you with a killer smile and soo professional I love him so much if only all police was professional and invitingly like him.. keep up the good deeds you do and the police should remember we the public just don’t want the corrupt ones in the force.. the lady in the car was completely wrong handling the phone, she was in charge of her car with her seatbelt on, key in the ignition and the engine running while waiting to join traffic too
@18:45 Pc Andy, cheers for being cool. I have PTSD, compounded by Police. Seeing an officer as yourself is fairly rare, and I felt tearful with a sense of relief seeing your communication style. A genuine Thank You.
Miss Piggy is totally out of order using her phone while in charge of her vehicle ! Joe public would get 6 points! and the pleb in the pink should have given a ticket 🎟 🙄 !!
Fantastic audit AB. We saw how the lady officer broke the law, denied it and then her colleague also lied about the law to back her up. Followed by Andy who is a credit to the Police Force and knows how to engage with the publicin a polite and professional manner. 👌
Notice how she puts her hand brake on after he approaches the car but whilst using her phone. Anyone other than a police office would have been taken to court/fined no excuses.
Drivers have got tickets for way less when Cycling Mikey/Gandalf Corner guy have reported them to police. That entitled rude woman needs to be ticketed for sure.
@@allanallen1835 He reports them to the Met Police. They have a form on their website that can be used to submit videos of traffic offences but you need the date and time of the offence which only AB knows.
Oh I didn't know we can use our phones in this manner, fantastic, thanks officer for setting the example, I'll make sure to keep my phone handy from now on as I normally put it away while driving
That is actually the most hilarious police officer I have witnessed yet, they really got them going undercover as builders now, since attempting to be a roadman failed miserably.
Andy was a great example of how to handle it, thought he was going to give AB a guided tour 😂 The others were awful and the officer driving should get points/fined. If there are good officers patrolling the comments, take note and make sure you set your own standards internally.
Andy immediately recognised that AB was not planning any sort of hostile activity, given the fact he recognised it was AB: thus, he identified the premise upon which AB was filming. After identifying the fact that AB hasn't, or wasn't about to commit an offence, Andy engaged in polite discourse to represent the Police in a positive manner. We need more Officer's like Andy.
I just realised AB doesn’t know how to take it when people are treating him nicely, he gets nervous and shy. But when officers are rude AB becomes the best talker and confident❤️ love to u AB. Learn to take kindness
She pulled the handbrake way after she was using her phone and the engine was running, so YES, she was driving. You can't touch your phone if the engine is running, that's what they're imposing on people so THEY themselves should also be held to that same standard. She WAS driving and she definitely committed an offence right there. I wouldn't let that pass.
Your sense of humour is awesome, you just throw them totally off guard and theyre looking bamboozled and are so flustered they do not know what to do next.
The way that copper looked down at the picture of a bike on his T-shirt was priceless! It was like he didn't know it was there! Glad to see you're still loving your work AB! "Find a job you love and you'll never work again!" 😊
Another magnificent audit AB !!! The first couple of cops were totally off the radar and the woman cop who was breaking the law by using her mobile phone whilst driving !!! Great work AB !!!
It’s officers like that man Andy that still gives you hope that there’s nice caring hard working good police officers about …. Hats off to you Andy and of course AB 👍🏼 great interaction
This is the third auditing video I've seen where the police officer has been as we should expect them to be. This officer (Andy) is very commendable. Thank you to all the auditors for helping make this change.
The woman "Am I driving though" needs to be held to account, Either doesn't know the law or thinks she's above it, As for Andy, real credit to the force, How all interactions should be.
Stopping at a junction is not "safely parked" by any stretch of the imagination!!! No wonder the General Public have totally lost confidence in policing in this country with such blatant examples of one rule for her and one rule for the rest of us!!
