Those scooters reminded me of these hover bikes from Venture Bros so much especially with the "kids" riding them all thug like. They would form Mecha-Shiva!
That will just exacerbate his problems. At that point instead of dealing with a few very powerful crime lords he'll have to deal with dozens of capos & lieutenants carving out their own slice. Sure, dealing any of them would be easier than a unified gang, but they're going to be doing the exact same thing, putting him right back at square one
@@nicholashodges201 Also, without a simultaneous assassination of every leader in the Pyke syndicate, word would travel and subsequent assassinations would become impossible. Then Fett gets locked into a losing war since he doesn't have the resources to secure an army to fight. His best bet would be to instigate a war between the Fetts and Pykes and use the chaos to his advantage.
She might pick off a few, but the pykes will get wise and would start employing countermeasures to that method. If you want to use that asset you need to catch them after they've landed and probably during the night in a camp. Preferably during a meeting with many commanders and such to cripple leadership. If you can't find the timing for that then the next option would be to spread out the hits randomly to knock out 1-3 leaders during those times. This would still cause internal problems with leadership and communication with achieving specific goals and objectives. Effectively buying time to organize a more comprehensive fallback positions and/or complex counterattacks as the pykes and whatever mercs they brought with them would have to re-organize command structure as well taking measures to ensure their camp was secure before then.
The thing that strikes me is that Boba is less a crime lord more like a pseudo-king at this point. Which means his long term goal should be to be able to independently raise, train, equip and field an entire loyal army on his own. Until then he is vulnerable to betrayal and desertion. So, to this end he needs to unite the planet behind him.
I’d love to see a Dune-like strategy where Boba recruits the Tuskens, but that’s kind of unlikely considering the tribe he was closest with was massacred.
It was kinda smart that they killed the one tribe that he was familiar with. If he'd had more time he might have built relationships with more Tuskens and eventually had an army on his side too big for them to overwhelm at once. Now he's cut off from a potential faction to recruit.
Bobas story so far has been one of mercy. So far every time he has shown mercy to someone it has saved his life. He saved the sand people kid, became one of them. Spared pig men, they saved his life during two assisnation attempts. Showed mercy to Vespa kids, earned loyalty.
@@apolloknight9521 (Before you read: spoilers for Episode 4) True, but we saw him showing off his capabilities in The Mandalorian S2 - and the fact that he's now fully healed from Bacta Tank Treatment might mean he's in better shape to do much more than what he did during his time in The Mandalorian. Edit: Grammar adjustment
I'm hopeful that Fett will hire a ton of legendary bounty hunters and turn them into a collective to rule Tatooine. Feels like things are heading that direction. He definitely is all about building his own tribe.
i think that maybey Black krrsantan might help Boba, after how he treated him but that wont be enough. like the idea of tusken army though, they could completley surround and destroy the pyks who go out of the city, rendering the entire operation very costly
Krrsantan will more than likely come back, as he seemingly didn't have credits nor a way offworld as he had been The Twins' personal gladiator that they gave to Fett and I doubt they gave him a ship lol. Also, didn't we see that the Tuskens that Boba was living with were killed by that swoop bike gang?
That doesn’t mean they are the only Tusken tribe on Tatooine, there are several others, and since Boba knows their ways, he can potentially recruit them
Sounds intimidating and a surprising but well thought up plan. The tuskans are considered primitive by moderne weapon standards but they are also verry skilled in bothe thier staff combat and thier rifles witch are verry acurate and deadley with solid projectiles. A well orginized army of tuskens could defeat a moderne force.
See they DONT apparently have attack based units.. not really, Fett should do what he does best. Offense and hit them HARD. With a ton of overwhelming force. They play numbers so he has to play quality and power projections since he lacks any serious numbers. Unless he plans to wheel, deal an others means to increase his manpower while depleting alot of theirs
Honestly as much as a I love the baby gogurt. I think I have to agree. But it’s more because this small series has a focus and it’s not really episodic there’s just one long narrative.
@@ravanpee1325 The Hutts have lost a large swath of the power they once held. People seeing Leia murder Jabba with just a chain led to a lot of slaves being able to escape and sometimes even kill their masters. I really wouldn't doubt if the Hutts only had control over Nal Hutta and are still just labeling the Outer Rim as Hutt Space in hopes that people don't forget and as such don't try any funny business like what Boba is doing
@@andrewmeyer3599 The Hutt council will be replaced with members of the old clans and continue. Also after the Empire lost, there's a great power vacuum and the Hutts are still rich for hiring mercenaries. The presentation of the Hutts and Black K was so weird. Built them up and then totally wasted as a threat
@@ravanpee1325 the hutts have no control over the bounty hunters only the guild has any real hold over them and even then each hunter is only bound by those rules if on a guild job any other job not taken under the contract of the guild can be what ever they are paid to do and even within hut space the hutts can only employ them under contracts and i can assure you most bounty hunters distrust the huts they will work for the highest bidder
Boba Fett has worked for the Zann Consortium in the past, I see it very likely and would enjoy it equally if he was to call in the Consortium have them bring in some Serious Muscle against the Pikes as it would be in their best mutual interest!!! 🤠👍
"He who controls the spice controls the universe." 😁😁😁 I really like that they're bringing in Gangs and Criminal Organizations and Empires into play. The Underworld of Star Wars is massive!

It would be awesome if the Pykes joined Boba Fett or at least the ones on Tatooine because they would've probably been giving Bobas honorable perspective.
So, three weeks later, turns out the battle strategy was, 1. Stand in the street and become bullet sponges. 2. Don't use Slave 1, use the Rancor instead. 3. Spread your main force out so that no one has back up. 4. At no time use any tactics or strategy. 5. at a critical moment, send away one of your most valuable players to do a task that isn't important at that moment. 6. Be nice and thoughtful as a crime boss, because ruthless and aggressive are too toxic.
Thanks for NOT spewing a lot of hate. I subscribed to your channel because I am really enjoying The Book of Boba Fett, and I don't like all the hate directed at it AND those involved in production, direction, and acting. It's like the glossy primary-colored 'Vespas' triggered something deep in the psyche of much of the fan base. Rage and hatred over some colored speeder-bikes.
While I do think it's cool to seem him semi-gradually gathering allies, I really don't think he's doing enough to establish himself as Daimyo / Crime Lord of Tatooine. He should be recruiting more Gamorreans and local gangs like the Vespas to act as foot soldiers patrolling the city and securing the businesses which pay him tribute, as well as hiring bounty hunters to serve him as bodyguards, assassins, and enforcers alike, as well as reign in any groups like the Order of the Night Wind operating in his territory so that they'll serve him and no one else. Honestly, to, it would make sense in my opinion for him to even start recruiting locals into a more professional fighting force. I don't think there would be any better way to gain the loyalty of the locals than to raise up their position in life and guarantee them a good pay. Plus, with a more professional army, he could easily fight off any small to mid-size groups seeking to challenge him. In time, he could even come to dominate all of Tatooine, not just hold up in Mos Espa. Which is honestly what I would like to see, though It's likely only going to amount to a fantasy.
@@GenerationTech Wait... Wait... are they not actually called the Vespas? If they're just being called that as part of an elaborate joke, then that's hilarious. Edit: Nevermind, this is just downright sad for the showrunners. Hilarious for us, though!
You do know that Boba Fett isn't filthy rich anymore, right? He has to start from scratch. No bounty hunter worth their salt would work for Boba on the promise that they will eventually get paid, Boba knows this he *was* that Bounty Hunter who was picky with what he wanted to take as a contract. He is at square 0, realistically. His only options right now are to make connections to exploit later down the line
The pikes are spice runners rite? So Boba hiring them sounds unlikeley even though he is trying to get tatoine on his side by setting up a system of controll thru respect. Although he sead he was a crime lord I still feal he is more of a busnissman or at least not a criminal like Jaba was. Boba has a real problem with spice runners so his relationship with the pikes will allways be strained and I don't sea them quitting thier spice business for whatever Boba may offer them.
Hey Alan I watched your videos in the past for the longest time could not find your Channel this video popped up and I subscribed happy that I found your channel again
In the movie 'Total Recall', there is a side-quest "Blue skies over Mars" Find the ancient alient artifact, restore a breathable atmosphere on Mars. Methinks that tales of ancient oceans on Tatooine is what has attracted the Pykes from the get-go. Fish-guys and sandy dunes aren't compatible. If Fett and company find the magic gizmo that restores the oceans, that would be fun.
Boba fett strategy of wining is to kick some arse!!! And do some real hard core bad arse shit! Oh we’re talking about the book of boba fett? Nah he’ll shower them with kisses and hugs.
It feels more like the pikes landed on the planet via public transport to make a public display of arriving without making it look like an invasion of the city. There was too many of them to try and look discreet, in a twisted way it's them trying to gain the respect of the people or cause fear in them by being so public about their movements
The climax will be boba on the rancor, and the black wookie shows up to help. I can't remember how to spell his name, I know it had a lot of N's in it.
If I were Boba Fett, I would make a beneficial trade. I do not fear the Pikes as you do. I will bring peace, freedom, justice, and security to my new EMPIRE.
Absolutely love gen tech. But can we finish a fucking show before we start with the pitchforks and fine knives digging for the deep meat. I'm sick of social media and the various video platforms constantly piggybacking off of shows to not pick and pull apart shows, episode by episode upon release. Wait for the finished book. Then critique. That being said. Love This channel, and the fact it has been largely taking up for BOBF. Love you guys.
Yeah, plenty to complain about if you want the same generic star wars you've seen already. One of the biggest complaints I've seen so far is the "slow paced" mos espa scene. I mean? It's a small backwater town with tight streets. WITH the right hand of the mayor at the helm of this chase. I.E. he's not going to barrel through the streets crushing everyone, I.E. the handwaving for the droid in his path. ALSO I do dislike the flash of the "space Vespas" but the pace is legitimate for what is equivalent to a "space scooter".
@@SithChaplain design choices and that chase scene are not good. Not sure what you mean by generic star wars. They could have executed that alot better. Black krysanthem also a let down!
@@thomasthetank827 "Generic star wars". I.E. the same thing you've already seen just slightly different. Most star wars chase scenes have taken place with high powered speeders. And using something different. Something a bit "slower" has pissed everyone off. Because it's not the same speedy, "pod race", if you will. Chase scene we are just use to in star wars. I liked the chase scene overall, but I do agree the cyberpunk kids and Vespas were a bit out of place. BUT. it's an entire universe yet to be fleshed out. Whose to say they didn't snag those Vespas from a raided pyke train? Or a warehouse forgotten by the huts. It's sci Fi. Not fiction. Bad writing is unexcusable, but some imagination Is required with giant slugs weighing close to 3 tons being carried by less than 30 normal humans.
Kinda wish they could've just brought Boba back as the head of an antoginistic mercenary syndicate tbh. Maybe one thats actually a rival to "the Mandalorian." All this space fantasy gang politics is a bit convoluted and doesn't really fit the character imo.
Book of boba Fett is kind boring compared to the mandalorian, plus they're making lots of strange decisions with the show. Idk if I really care about boba Fett as a character.
@@MaestroJericho yeah. The mandalorian already did bobas character; silent mandalorian armor guy who's a badass bounty hunter. They basically had to completely alter boba Fett as a character so that he wasn't just a copy of din jarin. They should've just done either Mando or book of boba, not both.
@@lumbagoboi1649 they should have done it from a side characters (one Boba recruits) perspective where they view Boba as this ruthless badass. That way we see the wookie mercenary and the crime lords as these scary adversaries that Boba has no fear from.
Boba's palace doesn't seem that tough at least not tough enough if the syndicate are by far the superior upfront fighting force they could get in. I'd be wanting to hack the blast door if it's electronically connected. There's also tunneling or just starving out the defenders, If I was Boba I might prefer some tent in the middle of nowhere.
I would love for Mace Windu to show up, especially given the Geonosis flashbacks. It would be perfect for Boba Fett's story arc. Mace Windu could be searching for Grogu at the same time Luke Skywalker finds him. Windu finds Boba on Tatooine, in search of information about the Mandalorians that had Grogu.
A cartel of drug peddling fish people, and I thought the inmates at county were fun. Main target should be operations, they're in it for the money you disrupt that they'll get violent, and stupid.
he's going to lour them to brighton peer so the mods can beat them up and throw Who records at them. In the meantime Bobba will shag Fennec Shand in an ally, but she'll go back to her old boyfriend
Why are we talking about this show still did we not see the last episode? Disney will never change if you keep making videos like this smh if you ain't part of the solution you are part of the problem
Oh, hmmm... He has credits, so loyalty, that is where the true strength lies. By asking the other leaders to remain neutral as long as they dont help him, then they will have this whisper in their ear when the Pikes go for their territories. They will call to Boba and Boba will answer and gain support through mutual respect
