Hey! Nice idea, I have several questions : - I guess if you go in the late game against a Vador turn, it's over for you? - you have the ressources but how do you keep up with the cards? Playing so many cards on one turn leaves you quickly without cards left no? - why not tarkintown? You have issues against aggro decks?
1: depends how much they ramp. I’ve found that I usually have lethal the turn after Boba deploys. Gamorean Guards can help block a Vader so boba stays up. 2. The cards can be an issue(especially without Boba units). I’ve definitely had some boba deployment turns where I just play my hand out, and the next two turns didn’t resource because I just played out both cards I drew. Still won those games though. Small sample size though. 3. My locals does have more Sabine than anything else. I’ve had multiple games where I lethal them while I have 25+ damage on my base. And especially since this isn’t a green or blue deck, I don’t have access to any healing. Thanks for the questions! ❤️ The deck could still use some work for sure, but it’s feeling viable so far.
@@TravyCCG 3. Sometimes the base power can you make you gain the tempo and the board control. But It depends on the deck so I was curious if you tried some iteration of the deck with tarkintown.
Nice idea. I just bought a booster case though 😅😂 I wonder if we will see people playing outside aspects in their decks, in the future. Remember, we can play any card we want, it just cost more if it’s off color. This opens things considerably and may be a mechanic in other sets to come.
Either should be fine. I would adjust this red list a bit and get some syndicate lackies in here. Maybe reduce some low cost units and make sure the deploy turn for boba gets max value.
3 fett units. Weirdly enough it was the first legendary i got and had a full playset before i even had half of the legendaries. Only ones im missing our avenger and black one.
I built this deck and love it, but I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong, whenever I get the refund/resource, I never have any units left in my hand to play and take advantage of the new readied resource
Yeah over time I learned I made this deck with slightly too many low cost units. You could definitely tune the deck to have a few more mid cost units to take advantage of that more. And I recommend doing so. ❤️🫡
@@TravyCCG thanks. Any suggestions ? I was gonna put in a “I am your father” just cause I know it allows me to draw more cards, but would love to hear if you have tweaked this deck in any way, or what you suggest putting in to avoid having an empty had and take advantage of boba
@@mdwhite85 with set two almost here there will be a lot of ways to tune this. I am your Father usually only works sometimes since the opponent chooses the effect. So they will often choose whatever is worse for you. But you could try it. ❤️
Love this idea, I’m looking forward to giving it a try. I have a single Boba Fett unit I pulled from my box. Not interested in paying over 100 for two more, haha.
Yeah I was excited to play Boba Fett and didn’t buy him at $20 on day one now he’s consistently $50+ :( It’s okay though. Glad you enjoyed the video. :)
Emperor Palpatine or Change of Heart if you have it for control and midrange matchups. Possibly even Ruthless Raider too. This deck beats Aggro, but can struggle against midrange.
You could take a strafing gun ship out for boba. Or even a copy of No Good to me Dead. However since Vader unit is green. You probably wouldn’t put him in here. BUT if you have those cards you should be able to build a really solid green boba fett deck. ❤️🫡
Each of those cards would cost 6+ resources to play in this deck, and this deck is trying to efficiently use its resources. That’s why they aren’t in here. Also, that’s kind of the point of this being a “zero legendary” deck. But if you got them and want to play them, go for it. :)
I think Boba would be the only “upgrade”, but you could pivot the deck into different styles. You could drop some of the low cost units and events for Ruthless raider or tie advanced, or even Palpatine if you wanted. Or if you have Change of Heart, that is great against Fetts firespray and other game ending cards. I also like forced surrender against control decks.
@@TravyCCG Thank your for taking the time to answer! I have only 1 Boba but also only 2 Strafing Gunships - so I put him in instead. I will check out your ideas, thanks. I pulled many Palpatines, so might be a good home for them.
