2 months ago, Tik-Tok Mom Influencer, Bobbi Althoff, had Rick on her podcast, The Really Good Podcast (watch it on RU-vid here: • The Really Good Podcas... ). Since then, she has interviewed Drake, Marc Cuban, Tyga, Funny Marco, and the Big Name guests keep coming!
Many question, "how did Bobbi get access to all these guests?" In this episode of the Take Your Shoes Off podcast, Sleepover New York edition, Bobbi reveals that yes-- it was because of the power of Rick Glassman's podcast presence.

@@MariRose-xoxo21 Well I think people are keying in on the fact that she entered as her character and after about 17 minutes she acknowledges her difficulty in freely changing from her personal self and her character. Rick speaks about how difficult it is even for himself. From that point onward its very evident that she is more herself than her character. Her low voice tremble that appears during awkward moments of her character were no longer present. Her voice commanded more confidence as she was just her authentic self rather than trying to meet the expectations of her character. Her character at the start is very similar to the way she interviewed Rick on her podcast. Her person after the first 20 odd minutes felt very different. There is many small things that changed. When taken in their totality I step away feeling like she let down walls and had her person more present than her character. For what its worth I actually liked it more than her character. Felt like a person not a character. Unironically I think this podcast and her genuine display of personality is the best case evidence for her not being an "industry plant" as is so often -- goofly -- quipped to her.

I’m really appreciative of how open Bobbi gets in this. The transparency helped me to connect more with the comedy. I’ve laughed during a lot of Bobbi’s interviews on her channel but I’ve never understood if it was a full on act or genuine discomfort. Realizing that she is learning to play with her discomfort & hearing Rick talk about how long he’s been playing with the discomfort opens up a door for me to do the same. I often feel completely isolated about other human beings. I feel like I have to either pretend (mask) or just feel too awkward & uncomfortable to connect with anyone. That isolation has a really big impact on my, even my desire to live sometimes. This is very healing. Thank you both.

i feel the exact same way, like i'm an alien or there's always a wall between me and others. and this podcast taught me it's okay to embrace the akwardness. But you are not alone, i truly connect with your comment. i also feel very lonely, i can't even have conversations with my mom. But i'm trying not to lose hope that we can work on it. we can start by doing things that we like and getting to know ourselves better to build some confidence and self esteem. when we feel connected with ourselves then we can connect with others. that's what i've read anyway and it's easier said than done, but small steps will help us feel comfortable one day.
