If I want to mount watercolor paintings on a wood panel, I order them from Cheap Joe's. If I want to PAINT on a wood panel - I get the panels from Ampersand.

"Sign all your paintings." So true and so important! That you said this up front really made me laugh. Because it reminded me of the day I delivered one of my own paintings to a collector and upon arrival realized I had forgotten to sign it. 🤣 Happens to me all the time...😏

Hi Bob, I Love your videos! I've got a question to ask you -I hope it doesn't sound dumb. So when you were mounting the painting to the wood panel, there was already a piece of paper on the panel. So do you need a plain piece of paper glued to the panel first? Thanks
Hi Pam, Thanks for your question! That was not paper - it was the unpainted wood of the panel. I had already painted the sides and a couple of inches all the way around the front. So glad you are enjoying the BobBlasts!
Thank you Suzan. I use Polycrylic water-based varnish. I wait a couple of days-until the varnish is completely dry-before putting the paper pieces into the sleeves.
Like the paper idea ... Hava a bird on a larger newspaper. ...paper that I think has a fabulous color scheme. Probably have to get Home Depot to cut a piece of good wood, ect. Just started watercolor this week...wow didn't know I could paint so well😂.
