I really enjoyed this interview. What I really enjoy also is being able to see his face so close. It brings tears to my eyes as it is so wonderful. One of the best I have ever seen. Thank you for posting it.

It's great to see Mr. Monroe in such high spirits and with a smile like that. He was often so cold.

He will always be remembered because he was a remarkable musician but no one will ever say he was a ray of sunshine ☀️ 🤣

I grew up just a wee bit outside of Bean blossom. My first job was parking cars for The Bill Monroe!

I've visited his Bluegrass Museum many times in the 80s....every time I was in Nashville--it was a required stop for me!

I was upset. I'm sorry, but I would be that way even if you said something like that about my favorite Rock N Roll singer Johnny Cash, my favorite Folk singer Bob Dylan, my favorite Blues singer BB King, and my favorite country singer Conway Twitty. Some people can't understand me sometimes too, because I have autism.

A lot of things came from blues. Overall I however think blues was just a type of country but became a bit too urbanized when going over into jazz

No. Bobby Bare was as low-keyed and friendly a guy as anyone. Also as humble as they come. He wrote some nice hits for other people and had a few himself.

@Bobby Bare🔹 Very nice interview ! I have discovered blue grass music late in life but I love the upbeat energy and sound of it ! I felt a love of his craft and what he has done but I felt he wished he had A lovely lady with him before he died . I hope he had someone real Who loved him near the end of his life 😊
