Red Beaulieu is played by Jerry Reed the famous guitar player, singer, and songwriter. I met him before this movie was filmed and he was the nicest guy you could meet. We talked about guitar and his movie Smokey and the Bandit for about 15 minutes.

"Anger Management" is pretty good. His character ends up in this group led by a doctor played by Jack Nicholson, who uses some rather interesting techniques. There's also "Mr. Deeds". It starts by a billionaire media mogul passing away. His closest living relative is a pizzeria owner in New Hampshire, played by Sandler. In the meantime, a tabloid journalist, played by Winona Ryder, is tasked with trying to find out more about him.

There’s a couple recurring characters in this movie. Rob Schneider as the “You Can Do It” guy. I don’t know if it’s a movie you’ll end up watching or not, but there’s a Rob Schneider movie called The Animal. As you probably know, Rob Schneider’s “You Can Do It” guy is in a lot of Adam Sandler movies. But in The Animal it’s switched around and Adam Sandler actually plays the “You Can Do It” guy. And then Farmer Fran, the guy who mumbles, also has a scene in Joe Dirt with David Spade.

That’s how people talked to Me , as someone with a stutter , they made fun of me a lot growing up

Kathy Bates initially did not want to do the movie at all. I heard she threw the script in the trash without reading it. Then, when her daughter, who is her assistant, came home and saw the script in the garbage, she asked what it was. Kathy simply said, "Oh, it's some sports movie." So, her daughter read it and said, "No, Mom, you have to read this." Kathy read it and said it was one of the most fun films she had ever worked on. Don't quote me one hundred percent on the wording. All I know for certain is that she threw the garbage her daughter brought back to her how to read it. And I really enjoyed fulfilling the movie.I think I saw her say that when she was a guest on Snoop Dogg's show.

This and Big Daddy are my favorite Sandler movies!

A few facts, the stadium that they used in the movie is now known as Camping World stadium. Which is a soccer fiand during bowl seasonit is the Orange Bowl. Also, some of the players that they usedl on teams we're actually from the Orlando Predators, which was in an arena football team at the time.
