Bobby reads the play so fast and dominates. He plays a lot bigger than what he is honestly surprised he didn’t go D2 at least I really feel like he could’ve competed at D1 off of this film at least.
Have you ever seen Last Chance on Netflix? Bobby was figuratively and literally a idiot by all accounts.. This tape just proved the theory that his HS coaches didn't have his best interest. They had to give him blitzing plays to cover up his low football IQ. As of today he probably is getting finessed on Madden games by 14-16 yr olds.
Bobby balls tf out!! His anticipation and ability to read the play is crazy! Not to mention he arrives with bad intentions 😆 I hate that they didn’t really unleash him in Indy.. Bless up B Bruce!
The coaching staff really wanted too but Bobby didn’t understand they’re job is to get them to the next level and a free education. They kept telling Bobby that he has to learn his position and schemes not just tee off on the first guy he sees but he never took it to heart which is why his playing time fluctuated
Don't put down the NFL like that. You need at least DVII football IQ to get there. Bobby is still stuck in 5th grade chase the ball carrier at all cost. This tape proves how his coaches just kept him in the loop to be useful enough.
I wanted Bobby to succeed and was really rooting for him too but it played out how it played out. The coaches constantly told him that he has to play smart learn his position and not just tee off on the first guy he sees, eat better since he was undersized and needed to add as much bulk as he could to entice D1/2 recruiters, and focus in class to get a C but he didn’t want to do any of those things.
