Bobby Driscoll - Sad Ending For The Original Disney Kid

As much as I want to say the ones who wrote it were clueless about Driscoll's story, you would think at least one person in the chain of command would have said something. The parallels are hard not to notice.

While I did enjoy the film, I have to agree it was pretty too far to the point of use Driscoll's story for Sweet Pete's backstory and I found that pretty tasteless but then again I still have a bit of a feeling that the writers were unaware of Bobby Driscoll's story and I feel like they should have done research before making Peter Pan a full out bad guy and I really wished they should of did what they're orginal bad guy twist that was originally going to be Pluto. But either ways, Bobby's story never fails to break my heart 💔😭

@@marshmallowfluff2nd413 actually, Pluto was originally set for villain , but then at the last minute they had to think of other choices and selected Peter Pan, unaware of Driscoll’s history, makes sense?

Nobody forced Bobby to become an addict you know. He did that by his own actions.

@@Disneyfan82 In my defense, I’ve only learned about all of this a few weeks ago. So yeah, it may have happened a long ago, and yet I’m still dumbfounded by it. It doesn’t change that he was unfairly let go. I’m melodramatic because I care about what happens to people? Who do you think you are?

@@kayleetoms6591 Walt was not the one who kicked him to the curb. That's a lie you know. It was others. All I'm saying is the parents should have been there for Bobby to prevent him from falling off the deep end. So why not ask where they were when this happened?

Everybody here is quick to blame everything on Walt Disney for what happened to Bobby, but the only ones to blame for what happened should be the parents that could have helped prevented this.

@@princeCustos324 He could have moved on from Disney and look for work elsewhere. Drugs do not solve problems, they create more. Disney is not anyone's babysitter.
