I was a member of East Lake Country Club in New he late eighties to the early nineties. Lots of Jones memorabilia, mostly pictures. But the absolute highlight was meeting and talking to Watts Gunn. And to have him tell me, “You have a really nice swing.” I’ll never forget meeting and speaking with Watts. The consummate gentleman.
Bobby Jones has a classic swing. Mist advice or "tips" today are not for a classic swing. Turning the feet out=classic, being loose, turning the hips etc. The modern swing is a very different movement.
My swing looked alot like this, left heal up, knee bent in a lot, really long swing. Did not work for me well like it did bobby but hey some people can make their own swing work.
lol, you’re missing the biggest thing - he takes it back WAY inside and does a little move you pros like to call “over the top”. It’s the absolute key to effortless power and leverage. People like you would analyze all this pointless confusing crap and then try to “correct” his swing.
