I liked the facts that Bobby "gets it" and that's why I love skating. Yes it's a individual sport but it kinda motivated by your peers and community and nothing beats the feeling when you achieve a trick and everyone around you support you in your own personal achievement.

Only someone that has ridden skateboards understands how well Bobby did as a beginner. It looks easy, but nothing in skateboarding comes easily; you have to work at it and take some slams to earn it.

Way to go Bobby! I remember my first turn on a half pipe and how stoked I got just to backside turn back into it with momentum. I got so over confident I tried going frontside which was my weak side turning on vert and I ended up folding my foot in half breaking my metas on my right foot. Worst part was none of my friends new how to drive so I had to drive everybody home and I had to cut my new dc’s off my foot because it was swollen stuck. Luckily my boss was cool and let me collect TDI even though I wasn’t hurt on the job. I wish I had all the old footage from back in the day now that my daughter and nephews are all into skateboarding.
