Wow u actually can tho look it up. And I mean literal caves that are nothing but crystals and man has explored. The wall are crystal the floor and ceiling are crystal. Feet thick pyres of crystals shooting in every direction
Correct me if im wrong, but isn't that a cave in south America and the crystals are not of enough value to be mined due to their composition, and the environment is well hotter than human tolerance, hense why I do believe, only scientists with proper PPE are allowed to enter for very short periods? I could be wrong, but I was a huge geography nerd about 25yrs ago lol
Diamonds are made by heat and pressure and there’s a lot of that as you dig deep into the earth, so it could be possible. Highly unlikely, but possible.
I had the same thought after watching the newest Journey to the Center of the Earth movie. But the diamonds are in the lava tubes, its not a layer of diamonds
