You're watching Bobby Weir & Wolf Bros Featuring The Wolfpack "Terrapin Station Suite" LIVE from NYC's Radio City Music Hall on 4/3/22. Follow Bob Weir: bobweir.net/ / / / bobweir
I freaking love Bob...What a ride from the Acid Tests, knowing people like Neil Cassidy, Summer of Love, a founding member of the Dead, not to mention the actual music part...Just insane a true slice of Americana ...
Finally! I saw the entire Terrapin Suite last night at Bob Weir and Wolf Bros in Charleston. I was with my son and I didn't even cry :) Just standing there lost in the song, in the music, the moment. Bliss. When I was my son's age (21) I had always wanted to hear the entire suite. Yep checked this box and adding to deep dead memories. Thanks Bob and family for sharing.
Bobby Weir is a bad Mal Fal for real! He was at every Grateful Dead show that ever was and he is still going! If he can still get up and play, then for damn sure I can get up and dance! ☮️☯️❤️😎🎸🎶🔥☀️😋🕺🤸♂️🤹♂️🧘♂️😘
The drop of Terrapin Station in 1977 got me on the bus... Terrapin Suite (Medley) >>> me a deadhead. Thanks Bobby for doing this! We were there the night before this but our friends got to experience it live... happy for them. I'm good with a video!! Great shows!
This hits me in the feels. Terrapin has always been special to me. Was my first Dead cassette my brother left behind as a gift. And it truly was a gift! Thank you for the music and memories. And Bobby is still committed and going strong. And that is so beautiful to see. Loved hearing them crush this one!!
Just got my tickets, Row A. I sure miss the seeing the the GD back in the day. "The fat man sings and the thin man spits" I can not wait to see Bobby, so glad to see he is still passionate with his music.
Beautiful. Bobby W is such an extraordinary artist, it's impossible to imagine that Jerry and Phil actually fired him in '67 or '68 I think, but of course he refused to accept that verdict, kept coming in to practice with the band, and it all went away...... thanks be to God
Bobby's as good as ever wolf bros too dead and co as well Bobby's amazing and surrounds himself with talented people and it really shows they all shine bright!
@@I_do.not_fearyou agreed unfortunately, but his guitar playing is still on point, he’s 74, and he’s bobby fuckin weir. as someone who was never old enough to experience the dead live, i’m so very grateful that bobby is still playing, even if his voice isn’t where it once was. :)
@@I_do.not_fearyou sure his solos aren’t the greatest either, but he’s not jerry so i don’t expect him to be. he keeps it down with all the cool chords and invasions :)
That's my favorite Dead tune. Next time Bobby comes to LA, I will be going to see him! That sounds like the full song, as performed on the album. Is it?
That's cos they ain't got Jerry! ❤😂😂 Now Bob is a God,gag, to those who never knew our. Beautiful Jerry G.'s Music right in front of him hundreds of times!!!❤. All Bob did was t-r-y to follow The Master.😊😊😊😊
Thanks for sharing this Bobby! And you know what brother? Remember that Jerry said he wouldn’t be caught dead singing one of your songs? But for you - you know, since you’re with the dead and company, it kinda works out - singing Jerry songs - ha! Now get back on the road brother, learn how to read, get off the dope, and have some fun! Robert frost
Can someone share with me when lady with a fan, terrapin station, at a siding, etc. start and end. I found out all these different parts have a name but which is which?
First time in a long time I've heard Weir sound like Weir vocally. Yeah, the guitar playing is pretty shaky, but what the heck. The guy is almost 80 and it's Terrapin, so...
@@matthewfredricks3063 agree his voice was definitely not great here. I know it sounds dumb but I wish Bobby still had that youthful voice from 74 and before. But then again he's real old.
@@I_do.not_fearyou thank god the core guys are mostly still here... at first i liked phils music the best like 99,01, 02, with warren and jimmy barraco and molo. they had to me better jamminf than ratdog back then. i actually like warrens singing in small doses but now i dont care for phil after hearing about jill and the contract for fare thee well... too much greed prolly why terrapon xroads went belly up ...not a big john mayer fan wish mickey and bill would have been ok with kadelick
Went to tons of Grateful Dead when I was younger. Loved it. But in the present, I will not see Weir. EVERYTHING is too slow. He took Good Lovin and turned it into High Time.
Cool dude we don't want you here. We don't need people that abandoned the dead family when Jerry died. We're still gonna support the legends that brought the music to us in the first place.

I love the Dead, and Bob, but this is bloated, self-indulgent and kinda sad. Check Bob’s performance with Billy Strings last weekend at the Ryman. Absolute gold !!!
