Cats are typically faster than squirrels but squirrels are much better climbers than house cats so the squirrels are typically safe if a climbable object is close. This Bobcat was faster AND at parity as a climber with the squirrel. Game over.

@@timg1099 The pure white one used to live in about 10 miles from me. It was a wild squirrel and it was bigger then the little squirrels that we have here. I'm in Baton Rouge Louisiana. My friends dad said that it was a fox squirrel and that years ago they had a black one before this white one showed up. It could have been someone's pet that got loose the more I'm thinking about it. We just don't have squirrels that big here.
