WOW! That wasn’t just a video…. That was a class! From start to finish! No one else has ever made a video like this!!! Details…. How Where & Why!! A great video for owners of Bob’s Revolution!
Greatly appreciate it Mike. I really tried to make a video that could benefit and make it easier for those learning how to use their Revolution or get an idea how to do it if they got one. Greatly appreciate the comment and the view sir! -Brian
FYI - My painting skills are still paint by numbers level as you can tell. lol. But the CNC freakin rocks at cranking out amazing 3d Designs... What do you like, painted or unpainted sculptures? Let me know.....
I have watched this video through the process of three projects. Definately worth time invested. A few comments as I have worked through the learning process. Because I have a lathe, I found I can skip the rounding pass as long as I am fairly well precise on my roughed out log that I finish with for diameter. Saves a lot of time on the front end. Next, if you utilize Bob's speed and feed calculator (you can download off Bob's site) you get Bob's suggestions for all the cutting perameters that actually make cutting go a little faster that shown in this video. Finally, I used Bob's G Code sender program (you can down load off Bob's site) for controlling the Revolution. After trying the UGS sender i found Bob's interfaced better with the machine and I did not have to convert to millimeters. Again, this was well worth every minute as it helped me get my feet wet into using my new Revolution.

Excellent Video! I have two of Bob's Revolutions! In your video on rounding logs with a table saw, you mention a CNC Laser cutter, what laser machine are you using? I have 4 CNC routers and am ready to move into laser engraving and cutting. Any advice will be greatly appreciated! Blessings!
