Hi man, me again, in the transfer func. all the number values must be positive as the roots of the monomials are (s - sp1) so if you have a pole at 10 thats be (s - (-10)). Other thing, when you take the constant (40dB), you have to take account for the poles and zero coeff. so the K for your TF must be only 10, you can check it using the final value theorem lim[s->0]
