Went there a few times for long necks but never crabbing because I'm in sf and we have the beaches here but will try there in the future for sure. You guys had a good day for sure.

@@LastCastChingy yes only possible on low tide. Rules and regulations has changed so they don't allow pumps anymore so we haven't been out since. If you do eat it sashimi it's pretty good that way. Good luck.

Hi- just wondering what rod, reel, line you’re using for crabbing. Thinking of getting my first setup. Can you use this setup for surf fishing for strippers as well? Thanks.

I have a 10 ft Daiwa beef stick paired with the Daiwa BG 5000. You’ll need a heavier duty setup because the snares weigh about 6-12 oz.

I’ve had luck from November to April. But I’m sure you can still catch in May in June as well.

@@LastCastChingy And that fried basket at the end looked like a perfect way to wrap it up. Some day I will make it up there. I’m about 3.5 hours to the south but always love seeing others going out and killing it.
