Bodega Portable 12v Fridge 

Instructions say not to plug it in for 6 hours after you receive it, because you don’t know if it was shipped upright, and you could cause compressor damage.

The solar charging works with the optional internal battery. I use a Jackery Explorer charging from a SolarSaga 100W panel. I connect the 12VDC output to the solar port on the Bodega with internal battery. The Jackery DC output connected to the fridge Solar port is more efficient that using the AC inverter. I use this setup while charging the internal battery at camp. By night fall, both the Jackery and interal are fully charged to power the fridge until the sun comes up. As long as you have the internal battery, you could attach the solar panel directly, but I choose to charge both with the Jackery's pass through charging.

How is it holding up a year later

That’s not a bad unit for an overlander, camping or preparedness.

Have you tried setting it up so the solar panel is providing shade to the cooler? Does that conserve any energy for the fridge?

Can u store ice in that one ? and use both ice + elec. ( water destroys) as long no leaks ok. Ice in plastic containers, glass bottles etc.

How many liter is this? Does it have the optional internal battery you can buy?

I just bought the T50 six weeks and twice have had 3 dashes come up on the refrigerator screen. Ambient temperature this time 61, ambient temperature last time 75. There is nothing on the troubleshooting guide or manual about how to fix. Worse. They literally have NO customer service. The only way to get in touch is by email, and they do not respond. I advise people not to buy from this company.

I was hoping he would go step by step on showing how to actually set the temperature.. He is going so fast on showing how it works… he doesn’t show how to set it to the phone..for people like me who isn’t tech savvy.. this is disappointing..
