This is not the first time I have had skirmishes with customs officers and the regulations regarding imports. Neither is it my first defeat; somewhere out there is a Tactical Frog Titanium FX Diver that was deemed too expensive to import...
I forgot to mention in the video that my impatience to get the watch was triggered by having seen various reviews of the LandMaster already uploaded to RU-vid, in some cases, nearly a month old. Having ordered the watch within a couple of hours after its debut, I was pissed that a repeat customer that had purchased numerous watches from Boderry hadn't been prioritised. That might sound a bit like 'main character syndrome' on my part, but the watch I ordered was still available in the days after my purchase. So, it wasn't like I was expecting a watch to magically become available for me if it were already sold out.
But, as I indicated in this video, I would have been stricken with buyer's remorse had I actually taken possession of the watch, since it is not the case colour that Boderry led its customers to believe they were getting, based upon product photography on the website. In this watch collecting game you win some and you lose some. Had I actually gotten the watch, with the 60% import duty, it would have been the most expensive LandMaster in the world!

I had the exact same experiences with Boderry. Ordered in June (pre order) and it arrived end August even though Phoebe told me it would take 10 days to arrive.

Yeah, it's irritating to discover that some customers are prioritised over others. Because some reviewers of this watch indicated they ordered their watch after I ordered mine - so they must not be following a first come, first serve practice. More galling was that some of the reviewers shared that it was their first Boderry. After they cancelled my first tracking number, they sent the watch from Spotify.com with the extra strap and new delivery address. Sadly, unless the customs policies change, I shan't be adding any more Boderry watches to my collection.

I looked at the same pictures you did before buying, and the color of the watch was exactly what I expected it to be. Grey. Is it possible your screen brightness was too low when you looked at the photos? My order also was frustrating with the shipping. Boderry needs to make some changes there.

Every picture and rendering from the site implies that it is - at least - a translucent black, with some colour of the titanium visible through the treatment resulting in a darker than gunmetal, or smoky colour way. However, the actual colour is so light, that the images misrepresent the truth. Also, my screen is always at maximum brightness. I think it is possible that Boderry intended to produce a darker product and the the images are indicative of that intent, but that the prototype used for the images is not what the production models turned out to be. The thing is, most of the images are actually renderings, so there shouldn't have been an issue faithfully representing the case and bracelets' true colour.
