never has there been a more swinging singing relaxed beautiful playing of jazz solos and ideas than this band. Trane changes beautifully interleaved in both sections of the tune, done carefully, always never stepping on toes allowing all soloists to shut their eyes and let their inner soul to sing. Thanks to all who have added other Boss Brass tunes. All are gems.
I had all of the Boss Brass albums. To this day they sound as fresh as ever. What a legendary band - writing, arranging, playing, the blend on their albums - simply incomparable. Genius. R.I.P. Rob McConnell! And thank you for sharing your gifts with us mortals.
