He stole a Rolex and was trying to sell it, everyone was threatened to give up Jay or they’d all suffer consequences. My guess is he went to the Airbnb expecting to sell it, but the ayub guy called the Rolex owner, Jay probably overheard it and left. He didn’t want to risk waiting for a bus or walking on the main road. Everyone’s acting dodgy because they know Jay messed with the wrong people. I’ve been in some messed up situations, there are some really dangerous people out there.

Because it's some "big coincidence," his friends supposedly had no idea what happened with vague statements. He was last located in an area known for trafficing/ exporting elicit substances, and suddenly went missing after posting a snap chat story of how he stollen an expensive watch or cocain as slang may indicate. With all due respect to his family, given his history as well, it's no surprise this happened.
@MifuneRU-vid respect is intended in the sense that it's unfortunate what happened, but it's also important to not neglect the context or details, or to treat his as a martyr or condone what were pretty obvious intentions based on the evidence. Considering the reaction from his mum compared to his friends who seem way too relaxed, vague on details, and in one case outright refuse to face the camera while giving statements, something doesn't add up based on body language alone. I reckon they know more than they let on about that night and aren't saying it due to linking back to them with the implication of drug trafficing, because I can think of exactly zero reasons why somebody would decide to walk 20 miles home on a whim, and be in that specific location with a history of ties to trafficing without been knee deep in trouble. Obviously, no parent or family member wants this to happen to their family that much is clear - and be clear, it is unfortunate - but the context and history paint a clearer picture that would be imprident not to mention here.
If he cut his leg and was bleeding, and close to his phone location then how did the searchers AND the dogs miss him? Something isn’t adding up? He went off road to flee from someone!!! They need to be looking at the B&B guys closer i think? Poor Jay😢💔

i used to go tenerife a lot as a kid, but last time i went a couple years ago made me realize it's a 💩hole. can't go anywhere without scammers trying to sell you things and my childhood favorite siam park was busier than ever and they thought it was ok to charge nearly £5 for a drink in the hot sun.

This is the only news channel where they're wording it in that weird way. The original news story was that they have found the body of a young man with Jay's clothes, implying the body is wearing them. Had he been naked every single news media would be talking about it to exhaustion, since it'd feed the rumours of foul play... Now, if he was actually without his t-shirt, and it's being found next to his body, honestly, it wouldn't be that weird either. Lots of men take out their shirts when the weather is hot. In that case he could've had his shirte either on his shoulders or even his head, and once he fell the shirt felt separately but still very close to him.
This guy was disorientated. To think he could walk back, then walks opposite direction, then he’s walked of the cliff. Did he have an infection or was he dehydrated, or suffering a heat stroke?
All I care about is what his family is going through. I went through something very similar. The family will never recover entirely. A future is gone, condolences to his family, and may his soul rest in eternal peace.

I appreciate that it is very difficult to search these types of landscape but it does seem rather comical that in both the recent searches, the BBC reporter and now this one, the bodies have been found very close to where the person was last seen/recorded.

@@FigmentHFnah he got dealt with by the Rolex owner. He was with the two guys originally trying to sell the Rolex. When trying to sell the watch the two guys were told if they wanted to keep their teeth and toes they should bring him jay. So at the Airbnb, Jay must’ve overheard them calling the Rolex owner and didn’t to make a run for it. That’s most likely why he didn’t risk waiting for a bus even though it was only a 15 minute drive but a 14 hour walk. He must’ve been caught by the Rolex owner. Otherwise the idea that he’d go out in the middle of nowhere, with low bat and at night when he could just wait till the morning - is harder to believe.
