AS always, I do it a little different but whole heartedly agree with bait in a bucket as the Silver bullet for Silver opossums. Saw my 1st baited wood box cubby with a 220 size BG in 1976 and you can imagine the numbers of critters a guy like me caught BEFORE I retired them to strict wintertime use elevated in brush piles. Even in trails, the BG's pick up interesting non targets on occasion. If you are trying for the 100 opossum season, a baited box 110 size BG, early season, will go a long ways helping you achieve it (LOL). My youngest son and I did 150+ opossums one year with all sizes of BG's from Nov.1 to Jan 15th. Good info Mr. B. .................the mike

I love K B stabilizers on my 330s for beaver. They really shine in spring when the banks still have frost.

Been really enjoying your educational videos, and yes they are educational. Contrary to most where they mainly bost their exploits, here we can find some answers and technics that have been proven to work.

Dale we up here in Upstate Ny use those KB’s religiously for raccoon and otter and fisher we cant have a trap raised more than 8” off the deck at the top of the conibear ive also grown quiet the fondness for the stakealizer i’ve used them in beaver runs and trails with great success thanks as always Mr Billingsley

Dale is there anyway you could bring one of those 220 wickencamp stabilizers to the Illinois convention? I would like to see how they mount to the trap before I go and buy some.

If you’ve got 8” of clearance, would it be conducive to run another body grip below the top one? Double stack em and let em go low if they want to. Catch one low and then when the other raccoon comes along he goes to climb over the dispatched one, wham.

Pennsylvania is 6 inch and only in waterways for mik and muskrats. We are allowed 330s for beaver trapping

Dale do you bend the trigger wire any specific way?

I have many of the KB Stabilizers. Only issue is be sure to tether your trap to it especially in the water or their gone. We can’t use conibears on dry ground.

Do you make those conibear stabilizers or are available somewhere?

In SC beaver eat the stalk of palmetto.

What about muskrat stretcher for a stabilizer?

Dale I don't think you have to worry about catching much with your dog hooked on the jaw instead of the trigger😅
