y sister also died of Alzheimer's 2 years ago. She was a genius, got her Masters degree on a full scholarship, and taught the gifted, which proves even a genius can suffer from cognitive decline. She was 1 year older than Biden when she died, and had been in a facility for several years before. My father was also a genius, spoke 9 languages fluently, even though he never finished high school, since he had to go to work when he came here from Europe. He had multi infarct Dementia. His family, like my sisters family made sure he was in a place where he could get proper care. If Biden's wife and children really loved him they would do the same, and not let him run for the highest office in this great nation. The Democratic Party must remove him, since when someone is cognitively impaired, they are not making competent judgement calls.
As much as I'm not a fan of Bill O'Reilly, he was on Glenn Beck recently. He said that inside sources at the White House say that it's WH Chief of Staff (Jeff Zients) and the National Security Advisor, Jake Sullivan, that are running the show. FWIW

I was an Alzheimer’s Director in a specialized unit for years and I knew he had a form of dementia signs long ago and it’s only gotten worse.Why won’t he get a cognitive exam? If he had nothing to hide he would have I believe. It’s clearly a cover up and those involved in it should be ashamed.
I have education and personal experience and cannot believe professionals like you and many many of us without the indepth education have seen it for years. Yet, here he runs the free world. As you know, he's had to be incontinent for YEARS and his wandering will only get worse. We are a laughingstock of the world and here the Dems sit.

I did our new patient assessments in Hospice care and Joe qualifies for Hospice care. Dementia is a very insidious disease and I agree with the Alzheimer's remark. Someone needs to arrest his wife for crimes against the elderly and elder abuse.
My father passed of Alzheimer's 15 years ago and my mother is currently in a care facility suffering from advanced dementia, living out her final days; both my parents entered permanent care when they were far more together cognitively-speaking than Joe Biden currently is. It is a disgrace that the Democrats (and his own wife) continue to prop up this sick and confused man suffering from obvious dementia and pretend that he is actually a functioning President, instead of giving him the professional care that he needs.

I took care of her at home for 4 years, & when eventually she was wheel-chair-bound or bed-ridden, she was in a nursing home specifically designed for dementia patients for five years. Since she was trained as a concert pianist, she could play the piano much longer than she could speak.
I'm not sure replacing him with Harris would be an improvement. They both say foolish things, but at least Biden has a good reason. At least Harris doesn't fall asleep. Or fall down. When Biden was elected I said to my husband that he reminded me of my own father at the beginning of his dementia. As time has gone on, he has progressed just like my father did. Some days are better than others, but always a decline until the point of not able to take care of basic bodily functions. Nothing I have seen in the past four years has changed my mind that Biden is on this same track. It gives me no joy to say this, it's a terrible way to bow out.
I've got a dog in this fight. However, Brandon's decline seems to have progressed at warp speed the last month or so--it's happening right in front of your eyes.
I saw my mom's dementia progress from mixing up the time of the day to not knowing where she was. She lived with it for 7 years after diagnosis. I know that blank stare and eye blinking very well. Jill Biden leading him by the hand after the debate was a sickening look. He was lost. I don't like Biden as a politician but I feel bad for him as a human being.

My husband’s grandma has dementia and she’s been in denial from day one. It’s incredibly hard to watch her say she’s as sharp as ever, then stand for ten minutes as she forgets which of her keys opens her front door. I wish people didn’t suffer from such a slow and painful disease, but they all need actual help whether they believe the test results or not, no matter where their political beliefs lie!

Pleasantries gave way to the Biden-Trump Debate, & my neighbor said that four years ago, he thought that Joe Biden suffered either from Parkinson's Disease or Lewy-body Dementia.

My mother was 95 when she passed away, she did the books for the business up until a year before she passed away. I am not a medical doctor. I did spend every Sunday for 10 years in a nursing home with my Mother suffering from dementia. It ultimately was the cause of her death. She was 99 years 6 months old. My father in Law was in a nursing home for 3 years with dementia, which also took him. He was 86 years old. I saw first hand dementia effects as we age. The difference between my family and Joe, is they were in a nursing home not the White House with the nuclear football.

Because it’s gotten to the point where it’s a regular occurrence and they can no longer hide it as a “gaffe.” Nobody has “gaffes” this often without some sort of mental deficiency.
He showed signs of neurological issues when he took office. Now it is consistent and can no longer be covered up. Most of my dementia patients did better, with the exceptions of a few. Pushing him to have such a stressful position, will only speed up the cognitive decline. No way can he last another term!

I've been a nurse for 24 years. I worked in the alzheimers unit for most of those years. I told my husband that Biden had alzheimers when he first ran. Now the signs are just getting more noticeable.
It's not his age. It's not his prior issue with stuttering. It's that he has dementia and it's getting worse. There is no way that this man can be placed in a position that affects the safety and security of an entire country when he is obviously not mentally capable. It's not fair to the citizens and God knows it's not fair to this poor man. He needs to step down or the Democrats need to wake up and remove him! It's disgraceful!

She talked to him like he was a child. And it was sad how his face lit up. My mom had dementia and she was never as bad as he is. He should have been removed from office between 2 1/2 to 3 years ago. I feel sorry for the man, I should say maybe as I think he's done some pretty bad things to his family and it looks like he's a child predator, but definitely not the politician.

Today he said he did badly because he was distracted by Trump yelling when his mic was turned off. Liar, it didn't happen . He also said he was the first black woman vice president to a black president. He needs to be in a real nursing home, not the White House nursing home.
He also kinda acted like he was there when Trump supposedly made those comments about the dead veterans. At the very least it seemed like he believed the accusation utterly, in spite of how strange saying such words would have been and the many witnesses who said the alleged quote was made up. Sadly, I'd say Joe's been at the point for a while where lies and facts have become blended in his mind. Soon, he won't be able to lie at all, in any conventional way. He'll really believe everything that comes out of his mouth, even if he won't remember what he said a little while later. My uncle sometimes tells stories about being kidnapped, or driving somewhere, or his job working in the basement of his care home. It's best to just change the subject and soon he's thinking of something else -- his original story gone forever.
Every time Trump said anything, the look on Joes face was literally the look of someone who is hearing it for the first time! It's like he had NO clue and it was all new to him. I agree with your assessment…. I spent at least 12 years of my career working with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and developmentally disabled patients. I had people who required 24 hour services on hand who were not any worse off than were Mr Biden is now in his decline. I am and always have been a libertarian leaning conservative, but watching him faltering brings me no joy.
It is sad for the man who clearly is not mentally able to handle stress. Enough of the lying. Enough of the excuses. He is not our best and he is not our brightest. If it takes the 25th Amend., there is no path to victory for the Dems. For once in your life, look at the flag, be thankful for time served, and put America first!

You don't have to be a body language expert to see he's got dementia. lots of people have dealt with elderly relatives who had it and it's instantly recognizable to anyone that's seen it up close. Telling us it's not the case or it's just a cold is gaslighting on another level.
Many times, Biden supporters call us out by saying we aren't doctors and we can't make the diagnosis. Sometimes more often than not, when one experienced a love one having dementia, we are better than doctors, by recognizing the signs, the symptoms, the effects on themselves and their love ones. Even my FIL had it, Biden showed the SAME symptoms and it's very sad and helpless at the same time when one denies it. What will it take for Biden and the supporters to understand that he is compromising the country in a very bad light???!!!

My grandpa had Alzheimer's. He could read the entire newspaper but couldn't remember a word of it. He also had a death rattle in his voice. Joe Biden has Alzheimer's.
I agree, my mom had it before she passed away. It is a very cruel condition and I wouldn't wish it on anyone! They should be ashamed ( his wife and Drs) for letting him be on the world stage like this!
My father also had Alzheimers, and I remember the "death rattle" as well. I could talk to him and he was with me, then it was like a cloud passed over his face and he went away. You could see his eyes become empty. Biden's eyes are empty. Don't bother trying to figure out what he's thinking - the answer is nothing.
I'll tell you what he looks like......when they show his face and he freezes, he literally looks like he died and his soul left , then he snaps out of it and starts talking ........it creeps me out
I just buried my grandmother this year and she had all the same symptoms, I became upset watching the debate because that man shouldn't be put under this stress, he should be enjoying his final days with his family...I blame the people who have propped him up and lied or worse stamped out voices of concern.

Both of my parents went through dementia... at the same time. Not fun. Back in 2020 it was obvious to me that he was in decline, as I could see in him all of the same symptoms back then that I was seeing in my parents. The fact that he has made it this far absolutely shocks me. In another 4 years - if that long - he will sit in silence, stare off into space like he's comatose, and breathe his last while being completely unaware of what's happening.
My mom had dementia for 10 years and this is exactly how it started with her. Jumbled words, her gait was stiff like his, that blank stare, periodic confusion. But sometimes she acted coherent and fine. If I had to put money on it he has front temporal lobe dementia.
Better question is, how the fuck did he have all of the advantages stacked highly in his favor only to fumble the ball on the kick off? I knew Joe was fucked up but I thought they’d for sure have done a little better than that.

I work as an RN in long term, rehab facilities dealing with Alzheimer’s and Dementia on a daily basis. I have been saying this clown is loosing his marbles for years ! His decline has been very rapid lately. I would love to see his medication list !

Well done. It should be a requirement for all presidential candidates over 60 to take a cognitive test. My spouse was diagnosed with dementia at 60 and there’s been a rapid decline. I see the same thing in Biden. He and his handlers are in denial at best.
I worked a job years ago that would often take me into care homes for the elderly and I saw many people suffering from dementia in that time. That open mouthed, vacant stare that we so often see on Joe's face always takes me right back to those days.
