I remember when I married my late husband Tim in 1990 with almost *no* planning and we just wore our best clothes. I wore a suit and wool coat I bought at Lane Bryant, a plus size chain of stores in the United States. Tim never made a big deal about my weight. He expressed his concern for my health, but only once when I made it clear I didn't want to discuss it. He really made me feel loved and beautiful, regardless of my weight! Still miss him bunches!

I can't help but shed a few tears along with the brides, but this one REALLY hit me. I am so happy for her. She's absolutely beautiful!

I had a funny little image of her going to work in the dress, going grocery shopping in the dress, paying bills in the dress, just going about her normal life in this floofy fabulous dress with a lovely veil in her hair. "La de dah, just me in my wedding dress!"

I'm struggling with eating right now. I understand what she feels like. I feel like I don't have control over things in my life and now have no appetite. I have to force myself to eat, its a daily struggle. Ive lost a lot of weight and my bones are protruding. My husband said I should get some counseling. I know he's right but I really just don't care anymore. So many heartbreaking things happening to people I love. I wish this bride all the best. Sorry for rambling.
