This is why “scary movies” haven’t scared me since I was 9. Learning of just some of the Nazi’s experiments on people was enough to show me that people are scarier than demons.

Inhumane is an understatement for what they did to people.

11:13 Karl Gebhardt, glossed over here, was a particularly crazy figure. Notably, he had formed some zany theory that surgery was the best way to treat infection as opposed to the much newer and better antibiotics, and dealt with dismissal of it by the medical community by orchestrating these experimenting on prisoners at Ravensbrück and Auschwitz. While he was doing these experiments, Reinhard Heidrich, head of the SD (and also totally bonkers) was blown up with an anti tank grenade by partisans in Prague. Seeing his name in lights, and with the backing of Himmler for whom he was personal doctor, Gebhardt resolved to cure Heidrich, and let him die of sepsis instead when it's unclear whether his wounds alone would have killed him had he received decent medical attention instead, notably refusing the suggestion of Hitler's personal to use an antibiotic. He later came close to killing the largely healthy Albert Speer (armaments minister), until another doctor relieved him. He was executed by the allies after the war.

That woman must have felt like she was living a nightmare.

Sometime i hate hearing gruesome things like the stories in this video but I make myself listen because the people in those stories had no other option but to LIVE it .

I've read the book, "The Lilac Girls", which is a novel based on actual events. What happened to those poor women was horrifying!!

There's a book called The Hiding Place that tells the story of Corrie ten Boom, a member of the Dutch resistance who helped hide Jews. She was in her 50s and she and her family ended up being caught. She was sent to Ravensbruck, but survived, having been released due to a clerical error. She was not experimented upon, but was beaten, starved, and was worked nearly to death. Definitely worth a read.

I can never in a thousand years even begin to understand just how terrible life was in a concentration camp, I struggle to even call it life as it was absolutely no way to live.

I remember reading one of my grandfather's books on ww2 and it had picture of vats as big as swimming pools filled with body parts one with torsos one with legs etc in a liquid. They were upto some messed up stuff

Dr Fritz Fischer, Was tried at the Nuremberg trials and sentenced to life in prison. His sentence was reduced to 15 years in 1951 and he was released in March 1954. Fischer subsequently regained his license to practice medicine and started a new career at the chemical company Boehringer in Ingelheim, where he stayed until his retirement.

This is going to sound kind of mean. But there is no amount of Justice that will undo the atrocity that took place in those camps. Even if they would have arrested and executed every single person involved it wouldn't have been enough.

No, the Nazis weren't the worst. This honorary goes to the Japanese. What the Japanese did to the Chinese prisoner at the infamous unit 731 located in Manchuria, is much too gruesome to even speak of, it makes the horrible experimentation the Nazis undertook on the prisoners seemed like child play. Google unit 731 and find out for yourself.

WoW, I use to take pride in my ability to take pain except I hate needles and had to get fillings without anything if they didn’t have the gas and really could easily block out that level of pain but I got an abscess in my thy and after they cut it out I woke up and my leg felt a strange tightness feeling and didn’t know why but when the nurses came into my room they wanted to remove the packing and I had no idea just how much material was inside my leg!!! They had so much packing my leg was at least double it’s circumference and just felt like it was going to explode!!! When they started pulling the packing since I just couldn’t do It the amount being pulled across the room reminded me of the clowns at the circus where they keep pulling a handkerchief out of a pocket or something forever! I had actually never felt pain like that before in my life yelling the entire time and had to stop them halfway through because I was so weak and just in complete pain! I honestly thought I could handle pain until that point in my life and watching this video when they mentioned the woman knowing something happened up to the groin area I have some tiny fraction of an idea but honestly have no idea and literally had to stop the video multiple times. I don’t think many actually understand the absolutely ridiculous amount of pain they went through because my tiny amount of pain that actually ended up making me afraid of hospitals after loving going to the hospital for almost 20 years because I also have colitis and had to get multiple pints of blood back in 1999-2001 and have been in and out since 99-2017 And I’m actually scared to death of hospitals now. But, I just can’t even imagine the pain those women went through!!! I also just don’t understand how anyone could even put any living thing through pain like that let alone another human!!! I cannot wrap my mind around that whatsoever??? I am still trying to finish the video… It is a good video it’s just a little difficult…

I caught a nasty E. Coli infection in my left tibia 10 years ago & went through 3 years of medieval torture & ended up losing my leg right below the knee.

What is particularly perverse about this is that the results of these deviant experiments were very readily studied and utilised by us scientists. They were very happy to have had access to them.

I have a suggestion for a future video. Please do a video about what happened to Kaiser Wilhelm the Second after WW1 and at the outbreak of WW2. I know he moved to Holland but Germany attacked the Netherlands in 1940 so what became of him?

Here’s another awful experiment. About 30 years ago our history teacher had a film he wanted to show us. This was to educate us of the of the horrible things the nazis did and he warned us it was graphic but we stayed. It was a film of a real experiment and yes they were filmed as well! It was a Jewish man strapped to a chair. The two scientists were preparing these syringes to inject him with. Well, the poor man was injected with battery acid. As they injected him he was panicking then he looked everywhere to then shake violently. But wat none of use we’re expecting was well not his quick death as he did pass out but Immediately after he passed out, his arms began to fall off then the fingers ears it was awful he was turning to body parts. These nazis are horrible! I never saw another video like this. If that exists it made us think that there’s gotta be more and if a school got a hold of that, wat does the government have? There are many videos phots of experiments etc… locked away and one journalists said, “u never want to see wat I saw.” It’s much worse and she agreed it needed to be locked away. I say it must be released. This should never happen again.

What's worse about this, is that people are still capable of doing something like this today, all they need is for someone to tell them they have the right to do so, if man is presented with power he will most of the time abuse it.

Those Nazis simply didn't care for the well-being of these people at all. It's this way of thinking that the lives of humans who are believed by the Nazis to be of a lower race or something shouldn't be cared for and you could basically do with them whatever you wanted.
