Just google what Tom said later in his life about lifting like that. You guys act like you will never get older. Have fun trying to get out of bed and walk without pain. Overtraining has a price.
I did this to myself 2 months ago. I just LOVE leg day and sometimes dont know when to stop in time Its so stupid, and I will not recommend it to anyone. Remember, a day like this takes recovery, it's not like you can go back to the gym the day after.

If I am stupid enough 😂 I use heavylifting as stressrelief Sometimes I am in mentally bad shape(have a tough life) when I arrive to gym, and just want it out of my system. Perhaps you know the kind of days where you're so stressed you can barely feel yourself. Then I add more and more weights to the bar, thinking I am having 'a good day'. Afterwards I walk funny and it takes a few days to recover. I august 23, I made a tear of the back of both thighs this way (too heavy, too many sets), it's taken quite a while to recover. Deadlift is amazing, and the thing I love the most, but I need to have a plan of progression not to hurt myself
Never understood gym trainers like this. All this leg day rubbish at a gym is stupid really,, you over exert the muscles and in the wrong way. Take these lot outside and they'd be breathing out of their ar3e after half a mile with muscles like that,, id sooner be a outdoor guy,, all running, agility and pace than a slow goer with a "good look". And those muscles don't have power either contrary to the myth that they do. Get them on a soil/grass hill 😜.

That's the issue with serious training - most of the time you can't even use your muscles properly due to exhaustion and soreness. All the training pays off only after you get a good rest, which happens only before competitions and during the occasional periods of unloading

I just appreciate how humble he is enough to let these other men help him. I feel like often times because they have a lot of muscle some guys forget they need help especially on these kinda leg days 😆

@@MiroslavOstapenko They were still tingling but I had a long conversation with my legs and we have both come to the conclusion that I should stick to running and stair climbing.
This must be one of the most scariest feelings you can experience,trying to move and your legs don't respond..wow..he shouldn't work out to this extreme
When your body says enough you're supposed to do a little bit more because that's when you're forcing it to adapt but only a little bit more and not to the point you can't walk and are shaking like this guy 😂
I've actually felt just like that many times after a strong leg day, even cramping up in the middle of the night. Legs can hurt so bad, especially because you need them to get around. Brutal 😮
i had a basketball tournament two weeks ago and i had four games in a row and hours later at night i got the absolute WORST calf cramp of my entire life 😭😭

I picked my daughter up from school late after weight day for the soccer team. She was swaying side to side as she slowly walked to the car. When she opened the door I blithely quipped, "Leg Day?" with a grin. She responded, "I can't feel my legs." We laughed and headed home.
@nelsonbenjamin4754 yeah, nah boss. Stretching between sets if you're going heavy can lead to serious injury. Properly warm up and you should be fine.
Back in the year 1999 when our teacher punished two of us for talking during computer class by 50 squats each. Relatable, no wonder so many of us hate leg day 😢
Yet there are still a few smart people left, who never go to failure nor take roids, develop phenomenal legs whilst never even coming close to failure. Same for the rest of the body.
Problem for me is I walk 30 mins to get to my Gym cause I unfortunately don’t have a car and I can’t go too hard on leg day since I don’t really want to crawl home.
