Instead of aims for a set time of walking aim for a certain amount of steps I recommend 13k to 20k but it depends on your current diet and calorie intake. This is a more effective way of burning calories rather than just walking for 60 minutes. 🫠

It’s not a weird routine. It’s called Fartlech training and it’s a very standard piece of training that is used in loads of different sports such as football (soccer) rugby and hockey. It simulates what it’s like to play active teams sports. Albeit if he was only doing it five times it’s a bit short but it’s a very good and effective type of cardio which gives you great variety

If a medium intensity cardio session takes a big toll on your muscle. Just quit at that point. I used to do medium intensity 10 miles runs like 6 days a week.

You and Mario have the same take on this, but I like yours better. Running does take a toll on the body, which does affect your energy levels in your strength training and everyday things, so it’s best to do moderate amounts and rest. I am a runner so I am used to the pain of running 😂 W vid tho

Evertime I have been running for a bit after I could lift alot heavier weight not for squats but for upper body and I also felt alot more energy in later days and there are a lot more benefits I'd say running is the best exercise you can do and think about this running in a forest or a place where you can't run straight and you have to keep moving side to side while also watching your step the benefits from this can only be summed up in an essay

Brisk walk daily for an hour or 10,000 steps. Do 1 day of HIIT per week for 15 minutes. Perform a few days of aerobic exercises a week. 3 days, 30 mins is good enough. Keep your athlectic activities alive and you will always be able to do anything.

A) Not everyone has 30-60 minutes 6-7 times a week for cardio. B) From a health point of view, you should be using cardio to train your cardiovascular system, not just to burn calories. And moderate to high intensity has a incomparably better training effect for heart health/function than low intensity. C) For someone that constantly harps on about being "athletic"... What's athletic about walking?

Honestly tho the main problem here is that not enough people have time to walk for 60 minutes every day and doing a mid intensity run for 15 minutes is a good solution and the toll won’t be there if you do it a lot

That’s bullshit lol everybody has time to walk for a measly 60 minutes (on top of daily routine) at least 5x per week. Will it be easy? Probably not for many, but sacrifices can definitely be made if they want it bad enough. Wake up an hour earlier, stop scrolling on your phone on the couch/bed, take your meeting call while on the walk - so many options and ways to manipulate your day to day life to accommodate an hour of walking
