it is 100% to make that kind of transformation within a year or 2. #1 most athletes r already relatively lean so no need to really cut after mass gaining phase. #2 most soccer players really dont lift weights seriously for hypertrophy meaning that once they start focusing primarily on weights after they retire they go into the newby gains phase which makes it possible for them to stay lean while packing on at least 20 lbs of mucsle in their first year. its completely reasonable u just need to lock in

Yeah, but the thing is protein helps you work out and calories burn when you work out so it doesn’t really matter if you’re gonna do a hard workout and you’re eating 3000 cal meal if you know you’re gonna burn it out and your body burns calories as you eat
I mean maybe they're taking stuff but they were athletes who were in excellent shape, they probably just stopped doing the insane endurance training they were doing and just focused on weightlifting. They already had almost 0 fat, muscles already well developed, they have plenty experience working out,
