A simple task required of all officers. What kind of society are we that we put women in positions such as this? We are literally sending women into shootouts with ruthless criminals 😂 how far we have come
I can believe it as it is a normal every day occurrence in the City of Chester in Delaware County Pennsylvania where I was born and raised. It's a city 2 miles long and every neighborhood has been ruled by various drug gangs competing against each other for control of the city since the 1990's after the administration of President Clinton got the mob crime families locked up in federal prison before that although the mob ran Chester through it's connections with the mayor's office and police department the streets were safe and the only crime in Chester was organized crimes committed by the mob and that was mainly bookkeeping, racketeering, prostitution and marijuana dealing . After the mob was removed you had the drug gangs the mob kept out move in and those gangs are the Bloods, Crips, Latin Kings, Junior Black Mafia and MS-13 all shooting at anything that moves on the streets of the city and there are neighborhoods like the one I grew up in that you needed to have a gun on you 24-7/365 as the police department were too afraid to patrol and respond to calls there.
Not to mention the abducted female handcuffed to the seatbelt in the back seat. Where was the drone footage showing her in the wreckage? Thankfully she didn’t catch a bullet, he did.
The lady cop was conscientious and very intuitive throughout the entire situation. She showed no panic and was always in control of the hectic situation. She even showed care for her fellow officers by instructing to watch out for crossfire and to not illuminate their positions by the use of flashlights. She’s gonna be promoted for sure.
I completely disagree. Every firearm expert or instructor will agree that she is a liability to the department, other cops and to the citizens that inevitably pay her salary. It's obvious that you do not know what you are talking about when it comes to surviving a gun battle!
Lived in that neighborhood in the 90s. Dallas is going the way of all the other high crime cities. The apts on ferguson and Barnes Bridge are a little ghetto to themselves
I was born and raised in Dallas and lived there from my birth year, 1945, then moved to Las Vegas in 1995. I am now 78 years old. My family lived in north east Dallas at 11240 Drummond Drive, which I think was right off of Ferguson Rd. So I was familiar with Casa View Shopping Center, Big Town shopping Center, the Dallas County Community Junior College in that area, Barnes Bridge Road, etc. There was a "Colters Barbecue" that I frequented. I recall a "Hall's Hobby Shop" in the Casa View Shopping Center. Lots of memories, both good and bad.😊
Both officers were so fixated on trying to find him running away from them, they never noticed the lights of his upended vehicle when that bright flash from the right side of the road lit them up for a brief moment at 2:29. Of course, it makes sense they'd be looking down the road for the perp, and not off to the side, but still - you'd think that flash would've at least gotten the passenger's attention, and they'd have at least taken a glance. Had they done so, they might have been able to take him while he was still in the vehicle; the delay meant they didn't get back to the crash until another minute had passed, giving him time to get out.
The female officer needs to be retrained or let to find a more suitable line of work. Extremely poor (almost non-existent, actually) emotional control.
I’m sorry but the female officers needs a new job. Can’t hold her composure let alone shoot anything. I always see these female officers are the only one who has to yell all the time, or emotionally break down. And cannot hit the broad side of a barn. I’m retired public safety. Just shaking my head.
Let me see if I understand this correctly...in addition to the fact that the suspect did NOT have to come back toward them to escape the area, BOTH officers failed to notice the suspect's SUV on its side as they drove right past it. Am I missing something?

Female cop unloaded her weapon, and didn't hit anything. Not even the tires of the vehicle. Than they wait? What do we do? Go after them geez. She freaked out. Panicked. She needs more training
he never came back like she said he would why would he come back he just found another way out they should of followed him and Mabey they would not of had a chase but either way they got him at the end

That stupid lady cop looks like she’s never fired a pistol before. Terrible. Missed shots don’t end gun fights. And you’re going to miss if you don’t have two hands on the gun and you don’t aim, but just spray shots into the night.
What was the female officer thinking exiting the passenger side of the patrol vehicle with a pistol when she had a rifle with sights right at her feet? Her partner had to instruct her which tool to use. Someone needs training.
These officers are a terrible shot. The lady officer especially, mag dumped and hit everything but the bad guy, yikes. Gotta love those affirmative action hires.
She says, "I don't know where he's at." So driving faster won't do any good at all. She doesn't even know if the running man got into the SUV. If you were in a vehicle and heard shots fired, would you not get the heck out of there? Never saw a confirmed gun. The only shots I could discern came from officers. This whole deal was really messed up.
