They had every right to they just went the cool way letting you drive off with the car if not they would have towed your vehicle for driving without a license and expired registration and can still do a search legally called “inventory search” but then your car get towed that’s why you have to make sure your driving with you license,registration up to date and insurance then a window tint ticket would be all he could have gave him and not have probable cause to search
People steady talking about he a cool officer. This dude spent 50 mins looking for ways to convict them. Even calling the fingerprint scanner dude to pull up, but he told him he was off. If things went his way Cap would be behind bars. I was let off with a warning and didn’t have my physical license on me, it took him 5-10 mins and I didn’t have to get out my car. That’s a cool officer, not this dude.

It’s legal sadly just off the expired registration and no license they would have search that car no matter what just wanted to let him drive away if not they would have towed it and did a “inventory search”
@@rashdjdiexpired registration or license isn’t enough probable cause for a search. If they were towing the car sure they have to do an inventory search. They let me drive away which makes the search illegal.

This is illegal as fuck because you don’t have a drivers license does not search his car. He should’ve been able to call someone there to drive his car off. The car is not stolen or nothing. He should fight this.
