Bodycam footage shows the moment a quadriplegic man allegedly used his wheelchair to ram a Florida cop as tensions got heated during a domestic call in May. A Miami-Dade judge said he’s “never seen a case like this.” Bryant Amastha, a RU-vidr and recording artist, called the police after an incident between him and his mother. Amastha attempted to get her Baker Acted but deputies chose to arrest her instead. The 32-year-old then allegedly hit an officer with his motorized wheelchair in response to his mother’s arrest. Amastha told a news outlet the officers “manhandled him,” yet body camera videos shed a different light on the situation. Amastha was charged with two counts of battery on a law enforcement officer.
