This is what happens when a high technology company is run by MBA's for over 20 years. They treated their most valuable employees like commodities and pushed out the most experienced because they were more expensive than younger employees. It's literally the opposite of what most high technology companies do.

McDonnell Douglass brought boing with boing money. Thats actually kinda true since problems with boing started there

It is also the kind of thing having federal oversight was meant to stop. Congress acts like the rules were meant to save the company from dying not the passengers. Otherwise this failure of Boeing would have ended with the crash in 2018 and with the crash of 2019 ended the career of everyone in charge at Boeing.

"not a failure" because the spacecraft door wasn't blown out 😅

Now when people hear that something is a total failure they immediately use the word Boeing!

Come on, it's not that bad. Just a couple of crashes due to Boeing refused to retrain pilots and opt to hide their MCAS system, one blown out door, a few leaks here and there, some burning engine. They probably gonna continue cost cuttings until few more Boeing fall from the sky. And the FAA absolutely have nothing to do with Boeing Failure, not like both of them share some employees right? It's amazing how a perfect system can be built, with spotless safety records(ignoring the few crash and other "minor" failures). And the whistleblower removing himself just hours before testifying doesn't look suspicious at all, right?

Good for Boeing!!! They were having problems here on earth so they decided to extend their problems to space!! Now that is called forward thinking!

I remember back, a long time ago, when Boeing was a respected name and a respectable company. They need to do a lot of internal reorganization to get back to that. They need to focus on remembering how to make a quality airplane again before they try messing around with space flight or any other side projects.

I wonder if this will create a, "jumpseat," policy for spaceflight where flights must keep at least one seat empty (or have an expandable cabin)?

I would have thought the Spacecraft division of Boeing wouldn’t have the same (lack of?) standards as the commercial aircraft division.

Solution is to call space x. For some reason this call hasn't happened yet. Wonder why BOEING. Ridiculous.

The fact that someone out there actually thinks Elon Musk is the answer to any problem..
@danielgyte8460
@danielgyte8460 День назад
@@CashRules660 elon sure as hell isnt but space x is undeniably the correct choice for crew recovery if boeing cant get it fixed. Their crew capsule has a flawless safety record and given how quickly falcon 9 can be set up and how reliable it has proven to be, the space x option would be the best choice at short notice. In addition since relations between russia and the US arent exactly great right now a russian led recovery effort would be next to impossible and no other space agency has the manned platforms necessary to achieve success at such short notice. Disregarding the entirety of space x capabilities because of musk doesnt really make sense, the company is responsible for the vast majority of both manned and unmanned spaceflights each year and has deployed the most satellites into orbit of any venture in history, private or public. The company is incredibly successful and capable, the fact its headed by a depressed middleaged edgelord billionaire doesnt change that fact.
