Beautiful Boeing 707-338C takeoff from March ARB, Ca. This aircraft was retired the very next day. It is an air refueler used by the U.S. Navy and NATO allies.
Great video. The Boeing 707 is the greatest jet ever built. It spearheaded the jet age world-wide. And those wonderful Pratt & Whitney JT3s made the best jet engine sound ever. It was music to my ears. A sunset takeoff is appropriate because, sadly, the 707 is all but gone from the skies now but at least I can still fly them on my flight simulator.
Thank you so much for filming this very last take off of this unique Boeing 707! I wish I could turn back the time to see this four engined noisy angel once more! You've done a very fine good job, saving the sight and sound of this beautiful B707 in possible high quality.
Excellent to see these beasts still going. Such a shame all these videos are filmed from near main roads which always drown out the roar but great video
Nice catch‼️ They’re probably making room for the DC10s they’re getting from the RNAF. Or I think they already received one and are waiting on the final tanker. Sometimes I find it on the plane tracker lol
@@aviationlba747 I know that! The 707 paved the way for the Boeing 747 because it came before the 747, the only reason the 747 came into Existence was because of the size and the 707 had limited seating capacity of 150 to 212, so Boeing came up with the jumbo jet concept of the 747, because it could seat nearly 400 to 500 passengers fully loaded depending on the make series model. I’ll rephrase my comment to forever the queen mother of skies, as the 747 will be and always be the queen of the skies. Thank you for your comment & participation.
