Built in 1981, this great classic paid Le Bourget Airport a visit during the COP21 world meeting. Its no wonder this paint scheme brings a lot of attention, and with the registration M-STAR there is no doubt a VIP is in town.

It's a Super 27. MD 80 engines 1 & 3. No #2 reverser..Very robust airframe.

true, JT8Ds are sill made, but the 727 airframe is obsolete and it’s way less fuel efficient then newer planes like the 737

It's too bad they don't make airliners with tail mounted engines any more. I used to love 727s as a kid. It was my favorite airliner. Somehow they look way cooler to me, but I guess they aren't economical these days.

It is nice to see a Boeing 747 200 soaring the skies again.I thought Boeing didn't make them anymore due to high cost of maintenance.An Aircraft with 3 engines.Hopefully Airlines will order some to add to their fleets once again.Awesome Livery.🙏❤️☁️✈️.
