Alot of people may doubt the power of this type aircraft-B737,their engine power at full blast can throw you down..if you dont hold on to something. Specifically,if you are standing directly behind the plane,as they begin their take off speed. Its amazing..i personally felt it.😊

In my dream world, I could and would! Unfortunately, we have become slaves to our family restaurant business, and work 7 days a week. I can remember years ago, we had barely any money, but lots of time. Fast forward to today, where we have no time, but lots of money. Lucky are those who can strike a normal balance to life, liesure, and work!

to the OP and others, i don't remember the movie clip or earliest viral clip (from late 1990s or early 2000) but jet surfing was made to look pretty 'cool' and 'fun' thing it is fairly common wherever there are lax laws or not monitoring and people can get closer to the perimeter. there is in-fact a 1993 demonstration clip by United Airlines (U.S. of A) titled 'Jet Blast' showing the power of engine's output literally throwing away a mini-truck/van but that hasn't kept people away from seeking thrill or for the sake of adventure *do look up videos of SXM (Juliana International Airport) where it is common for people at Maho Beach to come close to the perimeter (no walls, just a shoddy fence) and regularly indulge in jet surfing or trying it.* even Pisa and Düsseldorf airports have close line of sight access from outside, on the ground.

Great vid, nice of the FO to wave. When you become an international pilot and fly to the US, you'll have to let me know and if you can make it to Tucson we'll fly gliders together and my Cessna. There's some great year round flying in Az, probably not too unlike your Mediterranean skies, but less restrictions.

Something is not right with the plane. When I googled EI-GAX (ie the plane registration number), it has winglets on both end side of the wings as opposed to what was video taped in this RU-vid video. It may be that the maintenance team had replaced the (both) wings from the ones with winglets to non-winglets type. Puzzled & curious 😮

Why were they around such a dangerous location ---Maybe for RC racing__Surely not for real Jet Blast --People __come on man .I'm sure after viewing this clip ;you __the performers___ can see that being in that spot;__ is unthinkable.
