Exactely, same here, however ,the more I watch these videos the more I'm confused....I'm realising that the co-pilot takes off and lands...is that accurate?
The amount of training that our pilots go through is staggering. Videos like this show the intricacies of their job. Safe control of the aircraft and their cargo. We don't give them enough credit for what they do, they deserve much more. Happy new year 2023.
For the curious ones the airline is royal air maroc (moroccan airline) and the pilot and co pilot are both morrocan . And English is our third language we speak our dialect (darija),arabic, french (fluently) and english
Cette vidéo est formidable .Merci pour les images magnifiques et le professionnalisme de l'équipage. Merci Mademoiselle, merci Monsieur pour ce merveilleux moment passé avec vous.
As an Egyptian man, I am very proud of flying women in my country, Egyptian women show such proficiency in every field. I couldn't be more proud. Well done, all of you, great ladies.
Had the good fortune to be a co pilot on the 200 & 300 but flew the 400 in command. Currently examiner on the 787 . But the 747 is my all time favourite
Always enjoy seeing other planes while flying and taxing. I enjoy listening to and watching these pilots. It's a lot of information, but it's a joy to see what and how they do things as they go over everything. An amazing and beautiful plane that is now retired; I'll miss all those 747-400's. I love seeing the lightening in the skies; it's amazing and beautiful to see. Great and amazing pilots that are well trained. An amazing night view of Montreal. The sunset above the clouds is beautiful as well. Awesome landing that sounds amazing, and awesome plane spotting of this amazing Queen of the Skies. I love the different camera positions in this video; you see the cockpit, the pilots, the window view, and plane spotting. This full video with this plane and these pilots are one of my many favorite videos, and it never gets old by watching it. This Captain who retired on a plane that is being retired and both his and her thoughts are very touching and amazing to hear. Awesome video, I love it.
Navigating through those thunderstorms beginning around the 36:00 mark was absolutely spectacular. It’s moments like that I wish I had become a pilot, who else gets to see sights like that? Such a great video, thank you.
@@Jester-Riddle According to Oxford: Navigate: verb 1. plan and direct the route or course of a ship, aircraft, or other form of transportation, especially by using instruments or maps. 2. To guide (a vessel or vehicle) over a specified route or terrain.
It is absolutely amazing to watch a young woman coming in for a landing watching her eyelids as she gets closer to the runway going from straight ahead to down to her instruments just a remarkable feat of concentration. My hat's off to all women that Shadow us around the world.THANK U.
I freak out on the ground when a bad thunderstorm comes..... These pilots are flying into them with a full tin can of people! My God I can't send enough admiration and respect for what these pilots do under pressure and the way they level headedly handled it! The amount of professionalism and unabashed fearlessness it takes to fly these heavies is astounding! Kudos to the pilots that do this everyday and safely return us and our loved ones back to earth safely! God Bless them all! 🙏
The grizzly old Captain is one cool customer. He’s also a great mentor for the female pilot. He only offers his advice when needed and does not talk needlessly.
I've landed at Pierre Elliott Trudeau back in 2010 when travelling to Canada to attend Salon du livre de Montreal and it was the softest almost seamless landing ever so everyone aboard applauded the crew for being so much professional. While on the other hand when departing we've sat in the aircraft for about 5 straight hours because I believe the right side engine malfunctioned and thank God they've found that out almost right before the takeoff: we'd taxied a long way. So, the tech guys managed to fix the problem with all of us aboard and thank God we had a good air travel back home. Greetings, Montreal, I love the place, the country and hope to visit it someday again! )))
@@mula2626 Not from the starting point of the take-off run. Only after V1 (decision) speed are you allowed to take-off with just one engine. Before V1 the take-off must be rejected if one fails.
Wow! Marvellous and the views are sublime and something the average person would never see. It's awe inspiring and you are so professional and talented. Thank you for sharing this experience with us. Bless you both.
Great views and camera angles and seeing those storms on the radar. Lovely flying and landing. I guess simulations can help prepare for bad weather, but different facing it for real. A team effort with the help of weather and windsheer radar and traffic control when needing to deviate around cells.
enjoyable to watch professionals at work. These airplanes certainly have complex cockpits compared to the old open cockpit biplanes ! We can be thankful for all the highly professional pilots that transport us around the world.. Thanks.
Yes, it's amazing to see Mr Captain & beautiful lady pilot Khadeeja in air ! God bless all crew members alongwith Mr Captain & Pilot Khadeeja where ever they r for happy & safe air journey to reach up to destination incl calm & cool & in pleasure mental status & in best health, thanx for displaying video,regards-
I'm 60 and still living my childhood dreams as a Captain. When i was working in Dubai I was nicknamed Captain as I would always imitate the pilots welcoming the passengers aboard. (Attention ladies and gentlemen this is your captain speaking welcome aboard Emirates EK....) I am enjoying watching your Just Planes videos.
27:48 The controller did *not* say he was not familiar with Montreal like the captain thought. What ATC actually said to the pilot in the other plane when asked about which direction planes are flying out to avoid the storm, he said: _"Straight ahead is good, there's weather over the south shore, I don't know if you're familiar with Montreal, but over Sanja there's some, there's a lot of activity..."_
As a usual Moroccan traveler with Royal Air Maroc, if have always felt the landing is very smooth with their pilots. Proud of you guys and especially of the young lady pilot. Thanks Just Planes for these great videos showing how it would be if i realized my childhood dream to be a pilot.
Professional and calm attitude of both the captain and the first officer. Excellent landing preparations and perfect landing. Congratulations to Captain and Khadeeja. Thanks for sharing a fabulous video with a beautiful cockpit view of Montreal.
Really emphasizes the "they practically land themselves" (with the pilot's inputs, safety checks, etc..which demand a very high level degree of intellect, and inner strength of every kind, so...respect)!
Such an excellent series, JP edits and audio, various views all preview a professional aviation career especially for women envious of the achievements of female pilots in JP features.
Wow, great job flight deck, excellent landing!!! The first officer obviously knew what she was doing, she had the controls. She looked so young which tells me she worked very hard from such an early age to get to where she is now! And quite a lovely lady as well!
@@1topfueldrag Oh...no!!! That's horrible... God damn this bug that's affecting all of our lives! But I believe that she'll pull thru though. Look at the strength she had to get into that right seat!
Magnifico video, sonido, imagen, detalles, perfiles bien mostrados! Gracias por compartir! Pilotos de alto desempeño mis respetos! Saludes desde Costa Rica!
Wonderful and perfect, both of them, how much talent, I think and I begin without understanding, how much synchronization was in accordance with his blinking. "WONDERFUL"...Por gentileza de google traductor. Abrazos cariños para ti.
It’s awesome to see more female captains and pilots flying large body commercial airplanes and executes their job functions and work scopes with excellent…inside and outside the aircraft’s 👍 Bravo Bravo Bravo 🎉 Bravo ❤. Diversity is, We all belongs here. Big shout out to all female in the aviation industry. One love one ❤🇯🇲🇨🇦👍
I just recently subscribed to your channel, I love these types of videos, keep them coming please. I forgot to mention, Pierre Elliot Trudeau Airport is a great place for plane watching. I used to work not 200 meters from where the planes landed and took off. I got to see the giant Airbus a few times, which was quite something to witness.
Thank you for subscribing. Welcome on the channel and yes. YUL is a great airport for plane spotting. We did a film and have some segments on our You Tube and Facebook page you can check out. Very nice locations.
If I ever graduate from being a private pilot flying a Cessna 172 to becoming a commercial pilot ready to fly a magnificent flying beauty such as the Boeing 747-400, there is one thing that I will surely do - I will find this most awesome committed French speaking first--officer and get her to fly with me. This is a brilliant video - what an experience it has been, watching it! Thanks a lot, Just Planes! :)
