To rent a one bedroom apartment in any one of the new building along Denny you have to be making 6 figures, not a single unit is under $2,000/month. It's greed that's destroying Seattle.
@@Acronym6197 Very few low income units and the builder gets tax credit. The middle class, average income is being priced out of apartments and homes. And on the subject of the taxes let's talk about Bezos not paying taxes either local, state or federal.
I get it it's a real cool concept and use of something that otherwise would of been thrown away but it's only going to be available for the rich and wealthy/well off soo.... It's only exciting to y'all hope it will atleast be available for the public to visit.
I agree with the commenter below that the first thing I thought of when I saw it was 9/11. I think it's tasteless and insensitive. The plane could have been put anywhere else but in the middle of a building
So...he's not paying his contractors and the job isn't getting finished...like ever bc he owes millions and workers are still on strike. Maybe don't start a project if you can't finish it.
WestBank have great marketing but build poor products, come to Vancouver and talk with a realtor and you hear what the majority say, sub par products. I know, unfortunately I purchased a condo unit and now I’m really regretting it. Over priced for what you pay for.
Who wants to live downtown.? It's a nightmare. I wouldn't live downtown even if I got an apartment for free. Do Boeing workers or retirees receive a discount? $2,000 rent try double or triple that amount. I't a joke.
Its an ugly concept that will fall into ruin quickly because of birds and graffiti. Build something useful with the money spent refurbishing a busted out carcass of an airplane instead. Build an open park, or a garden, or a butterfly sanctum instead, don't bring more metal into the city, bring life.
