This is the moment a Boeing 767 plane lands on its fuselage after the front landing gear failed to deploy during its flight from Paris to Istanbul on Wednesday (8 May).
The Boeing 767, belonging to FedEx Express, experienced a technical problem during its flight.
The pilot contacted airport officials and successfully landed the plane on the fuselage.
There were no injuries during the plane's landing.
The runway is temporarily closed to flights following the incident, Istanbul Airport operator IGA confirmed.
Efforts are continuing to move the aircraft to a safe area.

Media jumping on any Boeing related story…. It’s a 10 year old airframe, 767 is one of the most reliable jets ever made. These things happen, it’s nothing to do with Boeing. Parts fail just like in cars. Crew handled it very well

Not nose first is it? Use the correct language will you? It landed without nose gear down. There’s a big difference, if it landed nose first there’s be nothing left but debris and bodies.

That is a *chefs kiss* landing! Plane is reusable after some repair. Amazing landing. The pilot kept the nose up as long as they could before gently lowering it. If they lowered it too soon, more damage and loss of directional control. Too late, and the nose would have slammed the runway, possibly bending the airframe. That was beautifu!

The crew did a great job of landing this plane! 👏 At what point do the actual air carriers receive some of the "blame" for these aircraft maintenance issues? Just curious. Do we have salacious news headlines going after the manufactures on our 10-20-year-old used cars breaking down? 🤔
@Sambell3936
@Sambell3936 Месяц назад
lol 😂. Cars are different. Make also. This is surely wear and tear , not maintenance, thanks to that landing the plane will be scrapped. So yeah why use old heavily used planes to save money? 🤷

So far Star Liner which was supposed to be America’s first human rated space craft since the Shuttle. SpaceX’s Dragon Capsule beat it and now has taken humans to space over ten times. While Star Liner’s first crews mission has been delayed again. At this rate SpaceX will have completed their contract with NASA for trips to the ISS before Boeings craft starts making its contracted flights.

@@letsdisagree Well, we haircut once a month and some man likes to be shaved at barbers. If 5.000 men lives at a small town and there are 2 barbers, it means almost 10 customers per day (the barbers don't work at sundays.) Most barbers are also good masseurs so it is really fun to go to a barber, relax and speak about football while they hair cut, shave and massage you. 😀
