797 waiting in the corner to be considered: Srsly tho, all Boeing planes launched after 1997 (year Boeing merged with McDonnell Douglas) have had some sort of problem. The 787, the 737 MAX, the KC-46, the 777X, the VC-25B, and even a non-plane, the Starliner (some sort of rocket ship thing for the ISS)

Alaska Airlines should've kept their A321neos. They are larger than the 737 MAX and have a longer range. It's just that they want to be all-Boeing, even if it is dangerous. These problems have never happened on an Airbus even though they have been in service longer. Plus, no Airbus has been grounded by the FAA, but Boeing, they have 2 in 7 years.

to be fair, the atlas air incident almost certainly wasn’t boeing’s fault. boeing makes the airframes but GE and rolls royce make the engines and the airline maintains them, so the fault is on one of them, or even just birds. even then, the plane was still able to land and continue its flight later on, meaning the issue was likely something less severe, like a compressor stall

The aircrafts they make are becoming, for me just scary. When i fly on holidays, i fly by the 737 max 8 , and it is not the best experienc. When i walk in to the plane i should feel save, but i don't. Why am i not comfortable flying this machine ? Beacause this model of the aircraft, killed few hundred peapol, and good pilots. So my opinion on boeing aircrafts is getting worst and worst by evry single accident or crash. It's sad to see this well known and respected manufacture in this state of downfall.

I've got some mixed feelings about this video. It's about a very serious matter and I didnt like the meme pulls to some of these incidents. As for Boeing, it's complicated. Their main problem is Spirit Aerosystems, they build the 737MAX fuselages. Their quality control is lackluster and they push their employes to work as fast as possible. A quality manager that reported these problems to his bosses was fired. Boeing cannot inspect the fuselages at the factory either, the contract doesn't allow them to do that. I keep on hearing how Boeing no longer exists and McDonnell Douglas is just wearing Boeing's skin at this point. McD, at the end, was full of accountants and penny counters. It was no longer about engineering but about cutting costs. That culture permeated into Boeing after the merger. The 787 has the same quality controll problems. I will personally never set foot onto a 737MAX. That's my 2 cents on it.

They may be having a downfall, but this is a downfall for Boeing’s standards. They are still one of the most if not the most successful airplane manufacturer Boeing plane are problem safe, at this time aeroplane technology is rapidly changing, Boeing has been testing a lot, they are trying to keep things up to date but also old school, I am not a random person trying to prove you wrong, but the chances of being on a plane that crashes is very low, take the dc-10 for example it had a bad reputation at first but later it was proved to be a safe and reliable plane! I think the same thing is happening to the 737 MAX but I must say, I do agree with you

True, the chances are remarkably low. But of course, safety first, even a few minor mishaps can’t be tolerated in today’s world of aviation.

The 747 incident really isn’t Boeing’s fault, it’s on GE or maintainence. The C40 involved in that incident is too old to automatically pin on Boeing, maybe that one is on maintainence. The contribution to the 777x delay that engine issues played are not Boeing’s fault.

It would solve nothing. This is not a problem with the MAX specifically, it's a problem with Boeing. Several airlines have been refusing delivery of brand new 787s because they've been found with missing bolts and screws and the 777x has had it's own set of problems including a "uncommanded pitch event"

Here’s the thing though, they flight from India to Singapore was airbus so it was fine, the flight to my city however was Boeing so like always it had a problem, an electrical and oxygen problem 😂. What’s done is done, as u have a point only time will tell for sure what BOEING will do about all this. But what concerns me is that BOEING employees are really being pressured to build more planes fast. It kinda reminds me of the INCREDIBLE STORY of the of the BOEING 747 where the INCREDIBLES worked around the clock to build the first JUMBO JET in just 28 months but against all the odds JOE SUTTER and his team SUCCEEDED. This is how BOEING got they’re INCREDIBLE Reputation. So im sure well all wanna see them make a COMEBACK as they were once the #1 AIRCRAFT MANUFACTURER

Boeing was always an innovator and was the pinnacle of quality. When accidents happened that the world never experienced before, they’d be the first to implement new changes in the industry. Too bad that 100 years is down the drain! Boeing has somehow made the 737 more dangerous than in the 90’s, when Rudder Failure destroyed two 737’s from two different generations and almost a third. I didn’t think Boeing could top that, especially considering how far aviation has come from that time. However, here we are. Instead of aging parts and engineering, it’s brand new aircraft that should only be crashing if bad pilots are in control, and that’s even hard to do on other new aircraft. Ironically the company that was the definition of quality for its day and wanted as little technology preventing pilots from doing their job, is brought down by new technology and a plug door that was fine on the previous generation.

It just shows that a SEVENTY YEAR OLD aircraft concept has no fucking right to be recycled every few years and stretched even further. The 737 once was a small, low-ish range plane, and now they need to make it hold up to the a320, which is a much more though out plane. Instead of making the MAX, they should at least have recycled the 757.
