While aboard the International Space Station, NASA's Boeing Starliner astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams talk about their confidence in their spacecraft and more. Credit: NASA
Saying what they're told to say. No one down here is confident in that thing and the company running it. Quite the opposite. I'm genuinely worried for these two.
I must confess that they take their chances, they pay the price. Personally I would have aborted the mission, and returned to earth, and so what ground control had to say
I wonder if this is an act of saving face that those on the ground will take the chance with the lives of others. SpaceX can only be trusted to bring them back
Why is it her hair is zero gravity but her untucked shirt is staying down he wiped his hands on his pants and it shifted the pants up and when he was done the pants shifted back down... where are these people
This smells of NASA and Boeing Desperation . I really hope Space X brings them home . I really think this flight back is going to be a disaster. Remember the Shuttle disasters Where caused by bad decision making and shoddy work and no other option to bring astronauts back unlike today where they do.
Who can forget that terrible loss of life by those on the ground that put money before lives. SpaceX would be best, but maybe there is something of saving face. How the hell was this craft allowed to carry on toward the station?
Imagine not getting a haircut while going into a zero-g environment with sensitive equipment all around you. What a hazard. I remember when these missions where crewed by the best of the best of the best.
Imagine thinking that hair floats away from her head at all times. Never traveling in the direction her head nods or turns, only slightly bouncing, as if it is fixed with a gel.
Must be intentional as she put some sort of stiffener in it I assume. Hair Braids do exist use em or cut it real short. Both sexes probably should go very short hair or bald for convenience and avoiding getting it stuck in things. But I do like the shock effect and how zero G works with hair with some sort of stiffener.
Hair in braids and more plenty of styles that work in Space. No collar shirts need collars look stupid in zero G at least her collar was stiffened past mission forgot that collar stays exist, military only place I know they regularly used. Might be better to get more form fitting outfits at least flight suit ones. The traditional Sci Fi body hugging outfits were actually logically thought out it not just to make the actors look good looking. In zero G do not want anything that snags.
International Space Station has enough space for two and enough food for two, so no worries and trash the Starliner. Even a Bell Helicopter can send you a better and safe spacecraft than Boeing.

Yep see them bounce up and down as their foot tether keeps pulling them back down with out tether they would float up. The hair. Every so often they will at least start with one person upside down or some other angle. Still human desire for and up and down makes them pick a floor direction in most places. Plus of course all the powerful organizations that would expose a fake.
Long agreed. Very short or braids should be used. Plus crisp SciFi outfits would be less likely to snag on anything when they came up with those outfits for outer space shows they actually thought what would work best. And flight suit or tighter is needed. Flight suits somewhat set up for cold aircraft interior though not needed. Plus looking cool helps promote space flight.
