This man is a hero and may have saved many lives. Lately, Boeing planes are so poorly built that they let go of the door in mid-flight.

Boeing didn't build the fuselage. It was built by a supplier who installed the door plug, which blew out during flight. Not being able to speak English most likely had little to do with it. That's been going on for years.

In my opinion, Barnett’s assertion is valid. Its a qualified opinion, considering he’s been in Boeing’s QC for 3decades!!!

I worked with John briefly when I was on the 787 program. Although I did not know him well, he was jovial, knowledgeable, highly regarded and respected. He was one of those people you just instantly like. I am frustrated with the lack of information or updates from Charleston PD. Surely there is at least some information that could be shared by now? To John’s family and loved ones, I am so sorry for your loss. May John Rest In Peace with his beloved wife. I pray you are, or will be getting the answers you deserve regarding his death.

For whistleblower John Barnett, he had fully packed his bags ready to leave after his deposition and called his mother to say he would be home on Sunday and extended his stay by a day on the request of Boeings lawyers and then found shot in his own truck in the parking lot with the gun in hand. This is so suspicious that it could be a crime thriller movie...... its just not adding up except for there to be foul play.

Ok so what were they health reasons he was let go for? He looked to be a bit overweight in his employee badge compared to him in recent photos. Men lose weight like that at his age for 1 or 2 reasons. He had to or he wanted to. And getting released for health issues automatically screams severe. Company attorneys go through those firings with a fine tooth comb and usually includes one of them the dept head and direct manager. They cross all Ts and dot all Is. So im pretty sure he knew he wasn't gonna be around long. Cleared his conscience and took that long nap. Rest well my friend. Thank you for the many lives you probably saved. There's no conspiracy here. This isn't the 80s. There's nothing new under the sun. And it's not stopping people from getting on planes. And it woukd make no sense to kill him after he already gave a deposition for a possible hearing or trial. You don't have to be present in court anymore to testify. They ended that long ago. So let that man's family grieve. And heal. End of story.
