BOG Deathgrip Link : www.boghunt.com/gear/pods-and-sticks/tripods/deathgrip-tripod/1099442.html Total Weight of the Bog Carbon Fiber on my scales is 7 lbs 13.8 oz 👊🏼
Great review. I like that your test included using the AR-10 .308m rifle as your video choice. That's my primary rifle and it will work well with this tripod as well as my wife's shotgun.
I picked up a monster tripod that holds up to 88lbs of weight but I haven't gotten it out to my range yet. Seems like you got the better deal, mine cost $297 w/free shipping on Amazon. That puppy sure seems to be accurate, and it held that 308 very well. I'm impressed, and only hope mine does as good as that one. Cheers brother!
Well after reading comments, seems i overpaid. I got the carbon fiber one for longevity and lighter use. It was $329 but it was marked down to $249 on amazon. Its arriving tomorrow and cant wait.
Me Uncle Don were hog hunting and I didn't have enough signal to watch yesterday. He killed a coyote and I got ate up by mosquitos. That thing would be great for night vision spot and stalk hog hunts.
Big J, question: Is aluminum one with the same death grip head the same thing as the carbon fiber? I assume Carbon fiber stronger or lighter? But the difference is 50% extra costs. $127 at B&H
@@BigJohnsonGG On the BOG website I found something I can mount on my big 4x4 drive electric wheelchair called the "BOG FieldPod Adjustable Ambidextrous arm" but they also sell it with a DeathGrip head.
@@BigJohnsonGG In all review videos I have watched on this tripod they all say the same thing the aluminum can bend the carbon fiber cannot. I have this one response to give to the group. Would you let your weapon get bent or dented because of neglect to store or move it around. I don't think so. So why would you neglect the weapons equipment. Righty accidents happen but those are accidents. Just store it in a safe place in the truck/car and when you get it home wipe it down and put it some where safe look no bending.
