You see, government is not helping the people. This madness will not happen in advance countries. They know if these companies breach the law, they'll benefit. So they leave them to operate until they've gathered lots of monies then they come to shut it down. This is is absurd
@Problemsolver434 Why isn't the government aware such a fraudulent organization is operating? Won't be surprised those AMA people go there to ask for business fees or whatever money they collect from businesses.
Ghana naa akasa. There was this institution Zidisha who use to give us loans at as minimum of 3% , by these monetary policies the government stop them. Now this same government is doing nothing to help the economy to make we the SMEs lessen our burden. Ghana is not my home!
1. BOG can fine these companies for not having the right documents. Then help give them these documents. 2. They can value the company and distribute their assets to its customers at least 85% for all customers making them lose about 15% instead of 100%. 3. The public needs to be educated on which licence customers need to look for from these companies and how they can verify them. 4. These companies needs to take BOG to court for making them operate without the proper procedures (this I know will not work in Ghana 😂)
Before you go after them BoG needs enough proof to shut it down to avoid being sued. So they have to first pay a disclaimer to the public before necessary actions can be taken. So I really can’t blame BoG!
Bank of Ghana and the Government of the day benefit from all the shut downs of these financial institutions. Remember these shut downs: Pyram and Resource 500 under JJ Rawlings. NAM 1, GN and others under Akufo Addo
Mag, is there a kind of national insurance that the banks must take in order to operate as is done in other well managed democratic countries? ie eu or uk or us???

Dont blame BOG...there are international banks in ghana with reputable record..Ignorance is not an excuse..why cant u use stanchart,absa,ecobank..there's even ghana commercial bank(no matter how useless they are)..
This guy sometimes sounds dump and it’s sad! He acts as if till date he doesn’t know how some people of ghana thinks and act. Till date, people are still troping in at agradaa’s “church” upon all the red signs.
Don't blame bank of ghana. Some people register businesses for purpose A which requires no further license from bank of hhana and then use the business to do other purposes. You The customer has to request for their registration documents to see if what they are doing is within your domain.
