I appreciate these clips! Lots of loquacious Internet folklore on how great the 100b is, but clips are truth. I’ve got an early 101b with MM iron and I’ve always wanted to try a 100b, but I’ve had a hard time justifying that a 100b is double the price. After hearing these clips, I’ll stick with my 101b. They both sound great, but I prefer the 101b.

They are pretty close the biggest difference the 101 B more saturation compression and more lower mid focus 100 more open less compression more Marshall type mid bark

The 101B was a bit brighter and more aggressive, and I prefer it!

Sounds super close. One is half the cost of the other.

Sounds like the blue channel on the 101 has more gain. Interesting that you didn’t set the gain levels the same on the red channels though.
