Doing the SAB version and I hate how they cut out the verses! Such an important part to the story! Ooh woow it talks about killing 🙄

Im an alto im singing Bohemian rhapsody for my school concert

This would be a perfect arrangement if it did not cut out two very important verses to the story told by Freddie Mercury in the original lyric. Namely, I'm curious as to why these two verses were cut: Mama, just killed a man, Put a gun against his head, Pulled my trigger, now he's dead. Mama, life had just begun, But now I've gone and thrown it all away. Mama, ooh, Didn't mean to make you cry, If I'm not back again this time tomorrow, Carry on, carry on as if nothing really matters.

I have the range between a typical tenor and soprano but man, I’ve never been more glad to be put in the tenor section lmao

everyone’s talking about the verses being cut short, but no ones talking about how most of the guitar solo was cut out. Im performing this at my school, and it really bothers me that the best parts of the solo got cut out.

Wonderful arrangement. One thing thought, why did they cut out those verses, I understand how it is very touchy, but if you are going sing one of the best songs ever written, you need to sing the full thing.

My nephew was in the high school production of We will rock you as the cop along with the students of my former high school, so I was impressed by the talent on stage..hope some of them take up musical theater and maybe I will see one of them in a big Broadway production of We will rock you.

Currently working on this in choir, usually it’s a very boring class but this song is actually fun to sing not only is fun and catchy but I always struggle to find my pitch as a baritone we don’t have a tenor section but this works very well for me a my deep voice so I must say thank you bohemian rhapsody.

I didn’t really the let me go part. The soprano part just sounded wrong to me.

Choir Teacher: Ok we are gonna choose and vote on songs About 1/4 to 1/2 of the choir: Chooses Bohemian Rhapsody as a song... Teacher: It’s too complicated All 3 years I was in my middle school choir, it was like that. Sad, but true

When I saw SATB i thought it meant soprano, alto, tenor, bari sax until I read choir lol

Thanks to a “certain global issue”, I missed out on a chance to use a voice that dropped faster than my grades.
